You mean when Butler bumped Walker on a drive late in OT, but they didn't call it and he got the block? Then of course he sinks the game winning three.

I suppose they fed Jimmy's free looks at the stripe late. That's why he gets the big bucks.

Kemba got fouled on a 3, but the refs mistakenly gave him only 2 fts. Hornets shoukd have been up 1 instead of tie. Game probably shouldn't have gone to ot.

So...which was the last shot Jimmy made before today? Was it the OT game against Nuggets back in December?

Jimmy’s games with Philly

Lose to Magic
Barely beat Utah
OT vs Hornets

Thank god his teammates want to win and can take his criticism through 3 games

And sixer fans dig the hell out of him. So used to blowing big leads, it's great finally having someone who knows how to work it down the stretch.

We did at first as well. Hope it works out, but it’s hard to cheer for the guy as a Wolves fan.

Jimmy already has more go-ahead made shots as a sixer than he did as a timberwolf.

Butler hit the last shot but he did a very bad work at defense guarding Kemba Walker.
The speed differense was obvious

Who is this Jimmy Butler character everyone keeps talking about? Is he a basketball player or something?

I think they are doing alright if they can beat a team with a player getting 60pts. I didn't watch it, so I won't claim he wasn't the only one who couldn't stop Kemba. Hornets are battling. Utah just destroyed the Celtics something ugly, with Jazz leading by 20 a number of times, holding about a 13 pt lead for almost all of it. Utah is defense personified when they all get into it. Should we claim everyone on Boston's team is terrible all of a sudden?

It seems to me we get too caught up in trying to pile on and make ourselves feel better.

I'm surprised how little I'm reading about him now.

I realize he was all for all of 5 minutes, but Melo Trimble is averaging 25 points a game in the NBL (Australia).

How dares Bjelica to have another perfect game?!

18pts, 7-9FG, 3-3 3FGM, 7Rebs, 2ast in 25 minutes

Some MIN fans are really dissappointed. Because they say that:

1) AT is way better fit
2) Bjelica sucks

I haven't heard anybody say Bjelica sucks. I have said his hot start is unsustainable and he will regress to his mean. Let's see how he looks at the All Star Break and again at the end of the season. I wish him well.

Looks like the trade is great for both teams. Each guy is helping his new team win. Butler with another game winner for us.

He's hit so many clutch shots from that 3 point spot, you might as well start celebrating if he can get it off from that point

Wasn’t that “sixers” troll in our BK game thread talking trash about it being a close game without BK’s best player?

He can score. But he's on the bottom team in the league (only 1 win) and he hasn't played any defense or been a good facilitator, just pure volume scoring.

I wouldn't blame him for his teams woes, roster just isn't that good, but he's not putting up remarkable all-around performances. Bryce Cotton, Casper Ware, Jerome Randle and others are generally considered to be better PG's in the league at the moment.

Another Aussie on the boards?

I admittedly haven't been watching the league too closely the last few years. As a Magic fan from way back I've pretty much been boycotting until another South East Melbourne team was launched.

Intending to get right back into it next season. Already started watching the odd game here and there.

I've been watching here and there. Adelaide are a really fun offensive team, (Wiley and Conger are a highlight reel, plus Sobey), Kings are pretty star studded for NBL standards (love watching Jerome Randle, Bogut's looking fresh lately) and Melbourne and Perth are quality teams.

It's pretty fun this season and the comp among the top teams is pretty close. Lots of OT games.
