a) Uggla is a 20 hr/80 rbi guy with adequate defense at 2B, he's not going anywhere
b) Hanley is fine as a SS. His defense improves weekly it seems. Even Alex Gonzalez, one of the finest shortstops during his years here started out his career erratic in the field. If he's not THE best shortstop in the NL, he's at least in the conversation. Sure no one talks about him nationally because no one cares about the Marlins, but it's the truth.

I love Reyes, but you may have a point...

The Marlins left side of the infield is probably the worst defensive and the best offensive in the NL. I think Cabrera's on his way back to the outfield, but Hanley should be able to become an adequate defensive shortstop. He is a monster offensively though, he could join the 30/30 club and win the batting title this year.

Bad defensive third baseman> Bad defensive outfielder
