That would've been a lot less tense if El Jefe had put MKG back in sooner. If our best offensive lineup isn't scoring or defending, the least you can do is put our best defender in to help preserve the lead.

Im just disappointed that it came down to the wire after we had such a big lead.

Sidenote #1: Lamb continue to do his 20ppg thing.

Sidenote #2: Batum shouldn’t have played that many minutes.

I don't think I've seen an NBA game where 3 players on the same team missed both free throws all in the second half: Cody, Kemba, Parker.

We thoroughly outplayed a top team. JB coached a great game.

I'll say it again - this team is too close to being good to remain as is. Please make a move Mitch!

What a difference Kidd-Gilchrist makes. He was everywhere in that game.

Kemba looked awful again. They were points in that fourth quarter where he was getting as far away from the ball as possible simply acting as a spacing decoy. As I was watching that game that was part of me that was thinking... Is he doing this on purpose to show management just how bad we need another scoring option, basically forcing the other four players to try to generate some offense without him?

Coaches got to find more creative ways to run offense in the fourth quarter. It can't just be kemba and Parker going one versus the entire team as the other four guys stand in the corners.

Does not surprise me at all. Last night Lopez (or Giannis at C) drew our big out of the paint the entire game and nobody but MKG can stay in front of their man on defense. Bucks were also crisp with their extra passes.

We need another standout defensive player almost as much as we need a second scoring option.

As much as I love him I'm getting pretty tired of Kemba doing his best Kobe impression at the end of games... The rest of the team may mostly be role players but they are NBA basketball players, and his hero-balling is simply ugly and not working.

That being said, him running around not letting them foul him was awesome.

I wish Kemba didn't play hero ball at the end of games as well, but lets be honest, who has shown that they are worthy of taking the last shot on this team?

Parker and Monk are it, and they come with defensive limitations when paired with Kemba. Marvin and Batum shouldn't be on the court at all in close games. Kemba should never pass them the ball with the game on the line.

These guys (and Bridges once he gets some more experience) are the only players who should see the floor in crunch time.

Kemba
Parker or Monk
Lamb
MKG
Zeller

Someone pull the stats on Lamb in clutch situations, seems like we never ever go to him and that also seems like an ideal situation for him to ISO. Don't understand why he isn't a primary weapon in clutch time.

Obviously Kemba is far and away the ideal guy at the end of the game, but not when everyone in the entire building and watching at home knows whats going to happen. He draws so much attention that SOMEONE is bound to have a makeable shot. Just strengthens our need for a real, consistent, secondary scorer...instead of just whoever has the hot hand today.

Its not just in the end of game situations either...he's just been pressing so hard lately in the last 6ish minutes of close games, instead of letting the game come to him as he normally would. You can tell hes also getting super frustrated with not getting any kind of 2 time all-star calls from the refs. He's generally good with pressure but I feel like he could use a break from it.
