I've seen some people on Twitter and Instagram debating whether Kemba said "This is my city" or "This is my s**t."

That’s very impressive that he’s right up there in the top 5 tied with LeBron and ahead of Kawhi considering his size. Not just considering his size but also his preceded reputation as a inefficient chucker.

This is a must read article:

When will the statue for Kemba be commissioned? After he re-signs with the team this summer?

The 5/163 deal Lowe mentioned would be great.

Good read, thanks for the link. This kid is awesome (doing my Mr Obvious).

Funny part for me being that the journalists suggest that 163M ish idea while i made most of my projections with the 165ish number.

5/220 is scary as ****.

5/189 is stomachable.

5/163 seems unrealistic.

Hopefully Mitch and MJ have a plan. Turning Dwight into Biz and Devontae Graham isn’t looking great right now.

The salary cap is about to explode with NBA getting a share of bets placed. Getting Kemba, even at the supermax, won't look so bad a few years from now imo.

We also got several more good 2nd round picks from that trade. I hope we have a plan to make use of them by either dumping salary or consolidating talent.

One thing I've thinking about though is say we aren't able to get a difference maker via trade, but we aren't satisfied with doing nothing heading into this summer. So we leverage draft assets to dump Batum for expirings, convince Marvin to opt out, and then stretch Biyombo's contract. We'd have enough cap space to go after the upper tier free agents.

Tobias Harris trained with Kemba, and Middleton is from South Carolina and shares the same agent as Kemba (which has paid dividends for us before). If we could land one of them in free agency how much better would that realistically make the team? And would it be enough to convince Kemba that he has a chance to have playoff success here?

Kemba is now at a point where he should demand that the front office gets him some type of help. It's becoming evident that other team's focus on stopping him on offense has hurt his productivity. As it stands, I don't think he makes All-NBA this season unless a move is made to get him some more help.

If Kemba makes All-NBA, he can sign a supermax for 5 years - 221 million. Compare that to 5 years - 177 million if he doesn't make it.

I know Kemba is a humble guy and all, but how much money is he going to sacrifice to keep some of these bums around?
