i agree with you

It’s very possible they could be moving one or both this draft day to move up or land a big fish but I don’t buy the theory that the team is done with frank or surprised by Knox.

Both are so young and both are showing what you’d expect at this point

Trier and Robinson are standing out so much it might make things less bright for the higher picks. But it shouldn’t change our long term approach

Why would an organization be down on their recent pick when he's basically played 10 games (after his ankle injury). Now some are upset we took him? The impatience is insane.

I don't even think they're down on the pick. The Ringer guys are down on the pick. The team were just talking up Trier and Robinson.

I wouldn't take this report too seriously either especially in terms of the Knox part. But I think there are other signs that Frank may not be here long term, and just based on what kind of moves we will need to make down the road....he may be the odd man out.

Yea I didn't listen to the pod. That makes more sense. Vernon has never been a guy who talks about his inside knowledge like that, and us being down on Knox in November of his rookie year literally makes no sense.

The Warriors play team oriented ball and move the ball better then any team in the league...and Durant is on that team

Im very aware of what type of team the warriors are, my statement remains the same about Durant.

Relax.

First of all, it's unclear whether or not Chris Vernon was referring to inside sources or people on the fringes of (or around) the organization. He wasn't very clear about his sources.

Secondly, Kevin Knox HAS been a disappointment. Vernon never said we were trading him or we were not invested in him. The lack of production is not the issue, it's the attitude. The Knicks are already working on his motor issues. He has been disappointing so far, this here is a fact.

Third, don't get it fd up, Frank isn't struggling because the Knicks are down on him, the Knicks are down on him because he has played like dog shite offensively and he has shown no signs of improvement whatsoever since his rookie season. I don't think he's an NBA player, in fact I don't think he would be playing for most Euroleague teams. You have to accept the possibility that Frank is a bust. The front office is not responsible for his struggles and Fizdale is giving him more than enough playing time to prove his value. The organization is giving him a chance but he's given the front office every reason to be down on him. I'm not even suggesting we should trade him, but he just doesn't have it.

Some of you guys are really overreacting.

It's the way it's reported. He could have talked to someone who was "down" on Frank's development so far which would be somewhat accurate. That doesn't mean they are totally out on him. It just means that they are disappointed in him so far.. Things can get lost in translation when relaying messages.

Wait... you mean 19 and 20 year old players can be inconsistent and not always playing as if they have already fulfilled their potential every time on the floor? I'm shocked... shocked!

Pundits saying outrageous stuff they know will rile a fan base to get clicks? Even more shocked!!!

Fans slurping it up as if it's truth? SOOOOOOOOO SHOCKED!!!

If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

While nothing would surprise me when it comes to dolan's knicks, I don't think either of these guys are very clued into the knicks specifically. Not putting much stock in it. I'm paying more attention to the direction fizdale takes over the next month or 2.

All these people do not realize in the new NBA with 18 year olds being drafted in the lottery you really cannot tell until the 3rd of 4 Year

Let's not forget Knox without for almost 2 weeks in the beginning of the season

At least my interpretation was that he was surprised that they weren't really talking him up compared to their other two rooks. It's only like an 8 minute segment so if you have the time check it out.

the frank thing is something else. but even if they like knox and still have high hopes for him, you can still be disappointed in how he's playing so far. it would be hard not to be.

Why would this surprise anyone if true?

They don’t have the patience or the guts to commit to the kids. Nothing they have done has shown that they ever will.

It’s either you help us win right now or you can GTFO.

Looking fwd to Frank & Knox having productive careers away from this shortsighted organization. Hopefully they can latch onto a team that prizes their upside over short term gains.

typical fans expect instant gratification out of all their young players.

Imagine what happens the day when some of y'alls flavors of the month Trier & Mitch hit their walls.....

if someone is that talented enough i don't mind if they iso. never minded when melo did and i wouldn't with durant. you can't let everyone on the team do it though.

So why the heck they are disappointed he needs some time?

For real, its just looks like its that simple - they like young guys who can already contribute, and don't like ones who are projects, because well.. They have big plans for next season, going win-now mode, and they need everyone to be a positive player.

While again, they themselves picked a project in last years draft. :noway:

yeah lets draft a barely 18 year old kid at the time and be dissappointed that he doesn't come out right away and look good. Great management we have...
