People on this board didn't want to trade Jaylen for a top-5 pick at the time lmaooooooooooooooooo
I don't think Dallas does that move even on draft night. These guys are pretty darn good at player evaluation.

I’d guess the Brown talks were dependent on who was available at 5, and whether Dallas was able to trade up into a position to get Doncic. I wouldn’t trade June 2018 Jaylen for the rights to Bamba or Carter Jr. or Trae Young. Would have dealt him to draft Jaren Jr. in a heartbeat - a Jackson/Williams draft would have been a monster. And, obviously in hindsight, I’d have traded him if Doncic were there.

Glad Utah swiped Korver. Thought for sure he would go to Philly. Dealing with him, JJ, Butler and Embiid would be a major pain.

This is messed up on so many levels. His career is over. By the way, he's been missing games this season because he had a problem with muscles in his but. :-? *walks out*

Reading replies, I'm not sure those allegations are credible. Either way...

"I know I haven't grown up on the streets and I don't have that bad-guy image like Allen Iverson," Howard said. "My message is different, and I still feel that I can touch a lot of different people."

As a kid, his parents always took him to church in Atlanta, Georgia. When he was 12, he had his first real encounter with God. He was at home asking God what his purpose was in life. Then he heard an audible voice saying, “Dwight.”

There was nobody else at home at the moment, so Dwight was more than a little frightened. He heard his name again: “Dwight.”

Half afraid and half marveling, he went into the bathroom. There, God told him his purpose: to glorify Him in the NBA.

dwight howard jumpYet he doubted the supernatural encounter. At a church service that evening, he asked for confirmation. The pastor called for anyone with a stomachache to come and receive prayer. Dwight was feeling pain in his gut.

He felt it was surreal but mustered his courage and went in front of the congregation. There, the pastor told him prophetically that his purpose was to glorify God in the NBA – the exact same words he heard in the bathroom at home.

“I tell this story to my teammates, and they say, ‘No way. That’s crazy,’” Dwight said.

Beal and davis with good looking games last night against each others teams.

Both with the double double.

I really want Beal.

I just started watching Luka Doncic, wow he is legit. I love tatum, but Luka may already be just as good. Kids got a feel for the game that young kids dont typically have. He's gonna be a star

Not sure why no one is talking about him - is it because all the people who under-hyped him (most of us) are embarrassed? Picks 1 through 12 in that draft have all shown raw talent and moments of upside so far - but Doncic looks s p e c i a l ...
Amazing. Like I would send Tatum to Dallas for Doncic

Along with being a really good player, he's marketing gold. A rare breed.

Raptors vs. Warriors without Curry (and Draymond) is a giant meh from me. And Nick Nurse is wearing curtains as a jacket.

Of course Curry will be ready with bells on when we play the Warriors. But in a way I can't complain since Steph vs. Kyrie is one of the best things to watch in the NBA. Need. That. For. The. Finals. Please.

Question for Cave?

How certain are you Kawhi is going to the Clippers? Percentage?

He is a **** monster.
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

Toronto hang a banner yet?

Lol. All jokes aside though, the Dubs without Curry would destroy us as home.

I don't believe that at all. Celtics have become underrated now actually.

They got Draymond out too though so it's not just Curry.

Watching Saints/Cowboys though instead, good game early.

Return to Boston Celtics
