Lowe on Grant:

3. Jerami Grant, rounding out the Thunder

I will have to contact him to let him know about the error of his ways. He'll retract this preposterous nonsense posthaste, I'm sure of it.

Lowe was very high on Grant in his article. I’m not ready to claim he is something that he is not, but I don’t think he was developed at all (nor did they even care to develop him) during the process years. So he was still super raw when he got to OKC. Never in a million years would I have expected Grant to hit a 3 in the face of KD at Oracle the day before Thanksgiving, yet he nailed it.

i can't believe that diallo is considered an overpay for bjelica. diallo having bjelica like impact for us would be a serious boon and way up near the top of his development range. potential all star...? c'mon.

I guess we will just agree to disagree. Also I think Bjelica is really good, but is the 20 games this season where Bjelica has played out of his mind going to be his level of playing going forward, or will there be a regression to slightly higher levels than what he was in Minny.

If you could guarantee this level of Bjelica then I’d be more open. But I think a regression is on the horizon for him

Yea acting like Bjelica is a guarantee to continue the same productivity here or anywhere is a crapshoot. He’s shooting 51% from three. That’s not sustainable.

He would probably stop making 3s just like most guys on this roster do.

At some point someone has to break this trend

Gambler's fallacy!

 give it man, the guy has turned into a legit starting forward. He's not done improving either. Embrace it

Is this diallo specific, or a more general stance on young players with potential be proven vets? If we had Mo Bamba on this team would you move him for a Serge level guy?

Strength of schedule. Nothing else needs to be said. I can't wait to get these next 4 games, with OKC 17-7, and the real schedule starts. Then we can find out if OKC is actually any good or if they have just been getting the easy wins against Phoenix, Cleveland, NYK, etc that are expected of an average team.

this is diallo specific and context specific. i'd give up either him or ferguson for bjelica in a heartbeat, i think bjelica is just superior to those guys over the next couple few seasons and after that it doesn't really matter to me since diallo and ferguson will be free agents anyhow.

Slight discomfort and fractured his knee? He’s done.
