Antoine Davis

Post#1 » by EvanZ » Fri Nov 30, 2018 2:59 am

This kid is reallllly interesting. He's skinny, but he can shoot, handle, and pass.

I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

He was the best shooter in his class yet never got to display ball skills due to team role but his handle has gotten better exponentially. He is really small though and not at all PG but if he keeps this rate of improvement, he will be one to watch.

Looks like a gunner off-the-bench type.

This may not be an accurate comparison whatsoever, that video is my introduction to him, but having watched the Bulls, Antonio Blakeney immediately came to mind because of the dimensions, and the shot making. Like, some of those highlights looked just like Blakeney but with a lot less elevation of the jumper.

Of course, if anyone can be Blakeney minus the chucking/tunnel vision, and actually be a legitimate shot creator whilst having a balanced floor game and actual passing chops, then you've got yourself a decent NBA player.

Blakeney is way bigger and a better athlete and this kid is a way better shooter, at least in terms of regularity, volume etc at the same age, I think Davis if anything is more out of the Ian Clark/Eddie House

Did a quick search to see if there were any threads because I was curious what people thought of him.

I think this guy can be a baller at the next level. One of the better shooters in college basketball. Impossible to guard with his short area quickness and quick trigger.

Has rose to the occasion when his team played a note-worthy school:
