I want to see Crawford fight some legit welter weights. I hate the fact that boxing politics will prevent a Spence, Porter or even a Garcia fight from happening anytime soon.

True, but Pacquiao couldn't/didn't want to finish the likes of Horn and Vargas.
Either way, it's clear Pacquiao's no pound-for-pound contender anymore and would probably get destroyed by the current welterweight belt holders. Still could be exciting as a gatekeeper though.
Yup. They should just keep matching him up with guys he can beat and look good against. Khan, Broner, etc. Even Loma at a catch weight of 140 would be a good fight for Manny because he has the natural size and power advantage.
Hah, they actually did this.
Broner and Pac sometime in January. Pac via UD. Take a shot every time Broner shakes his head after taking a stiff jab/cross to the face.

Surprised there hasn't been really any talk on here about Fury vs Wilder. One of the better HW boxing matches in awhile.

Duke4life831, I'll talk about this December 1st heavyweight fight between Deontay Wilder (US) vs Tyson Fury (UK) at the Staples Center, Los Angeles which is being shown on ShowTime PPV. Whoever wins will be the #1 heavyweight in the world in my opinion.
Who are you picking to win and how will they win?

Ya I already watched that. Wilder made himself look like a fool in that in my opinion. I got Fury by decision. I think Wilder make wobble Fury once or twice. But Fury just moves to well and is too good defensively that I think he wins pretty easily.

I was listening to an old head in Leon Muhammad who is picking Tyson Fury to win, he has some interesting stories to tell people about boxing and knows Don King and Shelly Finkel.
As for Deontay Wilder its taking him all this time to fight an elite fighter in Tyson Fury who isn't exactly 100% and at the end of the day it comes down to Tyson's athleticism, don't forget he was out of boxing for almost 3 years and has had 2 warm up fights - if that gap has closed and he boxes, i'm expecting him to win.
I re-watched Wilder's fights against Malik Scott and Gerald Washington both went down softly in my opinion and checking the comments re-affirmed my belief something fishy had taken place. I don't think Wilder likes tall fighters, especially someone who can 'talk' move and box.
I like Tyson Fury's interviews with Brendan Schaub, Joe Rogan Experience Podcast, The Breakfast Club 105.1FM & ESPN First Take & Wilders interview with Brendan Schaub aswell.

Was checking out Tyson Fury over on Twitter, he's looking in great shape and training with the brothers.
Look who he met at the LA Lakers basketball game the other day.

Jeff Horn knocked out Anthony Mundine in 96 seconds tonight at Suncorp Stadium. Second career he ended at that venue.

at the narrative of Horn ending Pacquiao's career.
Which is why he's getting more money in one fight against Broner than Horn has combined in his whole career. He can thank Uncle Haymon for that.
Also, Pacquiao's trajectory as a fighter was going down long before he fought Horn.

I was never that into boxing but growing up in Australia every time the Mundine talk came up in the news or social media in Australia, sounded like the biggest superstar. I'm guessing in the grand scheme of boxing champions, he's pretty low on that list? Don't think he's ever fought in America either.

Adonis Stevenson was KOed. About time, he's held that belt hostage long enough.

That was an absolute ROBBERY!
Fury EASILY won that fight...this is why boxing lost so many fans over the years, just terrible.

A judge actually scored it 115-111 Wilder.
How the hell does someone get paid to judge a fight and end with a score like that? 2 10-8 rounds to Wilder, Fury just dominated the other 10 rounds.

I had it 8-4 Fury, which would make it 114-112, could see 9 rounds. Wasn't sure how Fury would perform due to the layoff and his previous couple fights weren't exactly outstanding performances, but Fury exceeded what I expected from him tonight. Clearly outboxed Wilder, made him look foolish on a number of occasions. 115-111 for Wilder is just plain terrible, there is no way Deontay Wilder won 7 rounds. I'd be iffy giving him 5. Ugh, there is always that one dreaded scorecard. I guess it's likely we'll see a rematch next, location probably depends on how much this fight sold here...could see it going to England.

The judge that gave Wilder 115-111 gave the first 4 rounds to Wilder. I can see one of those too Wilder, but all 4 to Wilder. Also every judge gave the 1st round to Wilder, I thought Fury took the 1st pretty easily.
I'm curious what other 2 rounds you gave Wilder?
