Many people have even called him a bust over the years. Though I don't think he is your traditional bust he definitely didn't live up to his draft position.

If Isaac ends up as a career 8 ppg, 4rpg, 1 bpg player like Battier was he will have undoubtedly underachieved just like Battier did for where he was drafted.

A guy that has never been too great at SF on the wing creating offense and a 6’11 defensive oriented player with a questionable at best shot. Didn’t ever think it would work since Isaac was drafted. Would’ve been more surprised if it did actually work out.

Oh cool, I also like to talk about players as if their careers already ended. High five dude.

Am I talking about the players as if their careers have ended? Or am I talking about what we knew/ know about the players up to this point? 6’11 players without a reliable jump shot, not named Giannis, hardly play on the outside or as swingmen next to two other bigs.

Isaac shoots the 3 more than any other single shot on the court, including dunks and put-backs.

He has a career 33 3P% and 77 FT%.

What's your definition of reliable? Because the Merriam-Webster dictionary says reliable means "someone who is suitable or fit to be relied on : DEPENDABLE"

He is also 2 months past his 21st birthday, and has yet to play more than 27 games in a season as well.

Try again..?

The argument was whether he fit next to AG. I didn’t believe so and still don’t. You can see it however you like, but that’s my opinion. Yes he’s young, I don’t see him playing well with AG. I think he’d be better next to Bamba and someone that can create/ facilitate on the wing. Also, cool it with the “try-again” Merriam-Webster. I’ll let you know when my opinion changes since you care so much.

Please don't. My first day quoting you.. I'd say it was more like the first time I bothered talking to you.

Read on Twitter

I'm perfectly fine with these pull-up 2's off the dribble from Isaac. With his length its a shot he has to have in his arsenal. The shot that I had a problem with him taking and I think many others did too was that jab step long two he was consistently taking last year. He doesn't even attempt that shot anymore. I think thats really a testament to the work he put in this offseason. He is being more aggressive and looks much more comfortable and capable offensively this year.

Isaac had a very productive game and has played adequately this season.
