No. They don't.

This team is not in the same league as Toronto, Milwaukee and Philly, and it's a pretty good bet that Boston will get their act together too. Those teams are playing practically a different sport than the garbage the Wizards are playing. Furthermore, with the horrific regression of Oubre, the injury to Howard, and the overall uselessness of Mahinmi and Rivers, this team has no depth whatsoever. The only guys who can be relied upon on most nights are Wall, Beal, Sato, Porter, Green and Morris (the coming-off-the-bench Morris, that is). Bryant and Brown play with energy and effort, but I doubt they'll be reliable in a playoff atmosphere. That's not enough players.
No shot vs Toronto?
None against Boston?
Dittos against Philly...

Oubre regression...hmmm..I think the guy is the same as when he played reasonably well in playoff games vs Boston his rookie season. Or was it his second? Not buying regression. No.

Howard's injured now. For once I THINK it will become a huge blessing. His drama off court will be forgotten. He's not going to be hurting physically post surgery. Like Tiger Woods, we're going to have the best of what is left in Dwight Howard. Potentially THE BEST WIZARD will beast around playoffs.

Useless Mahinmi and Rivers. Why not mention Smith as well?

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU on guys not being reliable every night...but where I think you are myopic about it is that next man will be ready. Oubre out. Sato in. Green out. Morris kills it off the bench. Jeff Green is a baller. Devin Robinson is a high flying athlete. Troy Brown is a damn solid player. Thomas Bryant? Never will forget how much better he was head to head vs then 5 star recruit Terrapins freshman Diamond Stone. He's so good the Lakers invested him to G league.

Yours is negative and you don't see emerging talent as well as I do.

Time will tell nate. Aloha, my friend. Mahalo

I agree with Nate and the preponderance of readers here. We have essentially no chance
to get past TOR, and a very tiny near insignificant chance to get past MIL, PHL or BOS.
Probably wouldn't beat IND either. Love to be proven wrong. There is a reason I wore a
paper bag over my head during the first half of the LAC game.

The real issue to me is that Wall's strictly a one legged leaper, you rarely ever see him attack the basket vertically with a typical gather and leap of two legs.

It's one of the reasons why he's on the floor so much on drive attempts. Once he commits, the only way to adjust his attempt against defenders is to dive, and it would also explain if he's suffering from over use issues on his left knee.

Agreed...but still the same outcome...dude not above the rim at all...

I'm posting while emotional and or sleepy...just want to point out we discussed Wall and knee issues BEFORE he was bequeathed his super max deal.

I might be a bit off or not. One thing I know is Wall and past knee issues could well be a precursor of the Wizards future.

I think the Wizards will regret the super max. Big time.
