there is no need to trade anyone really. the team just needed time to build chemistry this season. it's happening. turned out howard was a bad signing but worth the risk at the time.

Re-write thread title to read:
"Wizards have no plan."

You know... not everyone can pick a poster-name that accurately sums up what they bring to the table. I mean, it's an achievement, it really is. & you have done a great job with that: I'm impressed.

I want to wish you good luck in everything you undertake; I really mean that.

So mean PIF, like Politics board and Wizards performance meet to create perfect storm of cantankerousness and insults. Sometimes you gotta be half-fool to see the glass half full. Sometimes that's the life of a Wizards fan. Sometimes I miss hands illogical positivity.

Still, this piece of ship be needing some over-the-top, break the fever, Marie Curie, Breaking Bad, Timothy Leary, Dr. Frankenfurter, explosion in the chemistry lab-type chemistry building to turn it around. More gellin' and less smellin' and the tickets'll be sellin' and the fans'll be yellin' and we'll be eatin' watermelon

It is too logical for it to be something that millie would state.

Millie would probably say something along the lines of Porter is the best SF in the league - better than LeBron or Durant, and EG deserves all the credit for his improvement.

My guess is that the offers for Porter were underwhelming from the FO's perspective.

Read on Twitter

While the Washington Wizards are keeping their options open with the roster, they have no intention of trading Otto Porter Jr., according to a report from Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington.

The Wizards are said to be contemplating shaking things up after a rocky start, and Porter’s name is just one that’s surfaced on the rumor mill. Both the New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings are reportedly interested in the veteran small forward.

“Though the Kings may have interest in Porter, the Wizards maintain their stance that they are not looking to trade him,” Hughes reported, citing a source. “That means no plans to ship him to Sacramento or anywhere else.”

Too-bad that any “shakeup” means Ernie doing the shaking

Agreed...though as bad as EG is, someone(s) in our FO values players like Otto, and gets us really good prospects for relatively cheap (Sato, Brown, Bryant, Robinson)

Because EG is such a divisive and hated figure, I'll just refer to the Front Office as a whole... but its not their fault that Sato, Brown, and Bryant are sat in favor of players like Rivers.

Again, I hate EG...but if it was actually Ted who pounded the table for hiring Brooks, then I can see why the FO would feel as though they provided a decent group of talent that is constantly underutilized by a below average coach.

My hope is that an intriguing Oubre and On-fire Kieff are the ones shipped out for a decent package & salary relief.

No plans to trade Otto is like saying everything is copacetic because we beat the Nets at home, beat the Pels without AD and the Rockets without CP.
