Yay! I just spent 300 of my Season ticket holder points to have the privilege of being invited to season ticket holder events! lol

We're talking close to a billion dollars. They've got to get a return on that and there just aren't other NBA cities where for $2,000 you could get a season ticket close to the floor with all sorts of nice perks, benefits, events, etc.
Kohl put such a crappy product on the court for three decades that the only way he kept the Bucks season ticket holder family semi-intact was great customer service on the season ticket packages.
I don't disagree with some of this, but:
A. $2,000 doesn't get you downstairs. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure $2500 for lower corners is about the best you're going to do. Not a huge deal, but worth pointing out.
B. As far as I can tell, there are no perks or benefits. Pretty much literally none.
C. Agree fully on the last paragraph. There were actual benefits to holding season tickets in the past. That part they got right at least.
The $2,000 price tag I was referencing applied to the BC during the Kohl era.

Yep. Gotcha.
And referring to the post above yours, yeah.......redeeming season ticket points to be invited to season ticket holders events.........sigh.

Re: Fiserv Forum Thread
Below is how our season ticketholder benefits break down for 2017-2018 vs. 2018-2019. We have been ticketholders (2 seats) for about 25 years, almost all of it in the middle of the lower bowl.
We were pretty much forced to re-up for 2018-2019 before 2017-2018 in order to guarantee a spot in the new arena and a halfway decent chance to pick out our new seats. The Bucks made very little specific guarantees about what benefits would come in 2018-2019, but we were assured that there would not be a significant downgrade.
2017-2018:
- $200 arena (merch/concession) credit
- 12 ticket credits to use at our discretion
- "MVP pricing" for additional tickets
- NO restriction on resale
- 25% Bucks Pro Shop discount
- Parking passes for all games
- 2 Potowatomi Club passes
- Ticket exchange program (i.e. turn in tickets to get comparable seats for another comparable game)
- Automatic inclusion in member events (e.g. player meet and greet at a Dave and Barry's)
- Playoff seating priority
- Nice little gifts from the team for re-upping and around Christmastime
2018-2019
- Arena credit (merch/concession) purchased with loyalty points. If we use ALL of our points up on this benefit AND NOTHING ELSE it adds up to $175 in credits.
- NO ticket credits
- Cannot resell more than 1/3 of your tickets, or the Bucks threaten to cancel their sale to you
- 15% Bucks Pro Shop discount, paid for with loyalty points (so, subtract from above)
- Early access to compete to purchase a small number additional tickets before the general public, which were sold out within 10 minutes (though the Bucks still had tickets in inventory)
- NO parking passes
- NO club access
- "Fluid Tickets" where the Bucks skim as much as 25% off the top of the ticket's value when you trade it in
- Member events to be purchased with loyalty points
- Playoff seating priority?????????? I guess we have to wait to see.
- A mishmash of crap that you can buy with your loyalty points that in previous years would just come included with a ticket package (e.g. a season subscriber hat or a special-edition bobblehead)
With the new arena and excitement around the team, it's not surprising that they cut back somewhat. But I am genuinely surprised by how much they cut back, especially since we were given repeated assurances by the Bucks that the overall value of the package wouldn't be diminished by much. That was obviously a fraud, as you can see above.

THE DINJ wrote:Don't know if this was mentioned in the last thread, but with the new "Fluid Tickets" system, the Bucks often offer MUCH less than face value for your tickets if you try to move them around.
In our example, we had 2 $110 face-value tickets for a game. When we looked into moving them around a little bit because we have a friend coming to town, the system said it would give us $168 (total) in credits. Then they were going to charge us full face value for the tickets we're trying to move to. So that means we can't really use our season tickets to move to another game or go with a larger group without taking a huge penalty (almost 25%).
In the past, you could just call your ticket guy up and ask to move your seats around. Want 4 tickets to a game? Just trade in 4 tickets and they'd do the best they could to keep you in the same section/area. Maybe they kept you within the game "tier" (e.g. Premier game for a Premier game) but it was basically no hassle. Now you're stuck with what you've got unless you want to pay a lot extra.
It's awful.
Noticed that right away too. Is there also a limit in games you can return? I'm getting a prompt that none of my tickets can be returned as of today. It could be an app issue/glitch though.

That's the same error message I was getting before they actually went live on it. Then it randomly started working.

It looks like I can get first row seats on the baseline for about $150 or I can get 10th row center court for the same price.
Any idea which are better? Do you know if the 1st row baseline really means first row baseline or if you are behind a row of media like in some places? On Stubhub it says row 1 for baseline, but it doesn't say the seat number. Do you guys know if any of those seats in the first row have an obstructed view from the basket support?
Thanks in advance!
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

What section are the baseline seats? True first row would be row AAA. 10th row center court are great seats

Lower baseline section 111, row 1.
You saying those aren't actually true first row?

I don't think you are on the floor unless the seats are triple letters (AAA-DDD)
Row 1 would be up on the risers behind the row behind those seats
I would tell you to take the 10th row center court over those seats

True first row is AAA.
10th row center court for sure in my opinion.

thanks guys, definitely gonna jump on those center court tickets. Live in Chicago, but even with the extra driving its still worth it to go to Milwaukee instead. Tickets are 4x cheaper for those types of seats plus you get to see a much better team.

I don't agree with that. UC is may be too big and pretty sterile and uninteresting, but it's always been a clean and comfortable place to watch games, basketball and hockey. Dump implies the opposite.

Yeah I guess that's true. There are worse. But a few thousand Bulls fans make it a dump on game nights.

I've been splitting season tickets with a small group for the past 10 years, with the original ticketholder being one for 30+ years. Pretty sure this is our last year. It's maddening to see how cheap comparable tickets are to ours on StubHub each year... often times less than half the price. Benefits package is trash now as well.

The whole thing has gotten like the airlines. You've got four prices out there for most games and most seats:
a) Face value
b) Actual cost to the season ticket holder whether divided by 41 games (full) or 21 (half)
c) The "Fan Specials" ticket prices that are always advertised on game broadcasts (Guys night out! 1/2 off!)
d) Whatever the secondary market is showing or allowing
You just have to decide how much you want to see the game and make a call on it whether you think it a good deal.

Re: Fiserv Forum Thread
If they get over the hump and make the ECF (big if obviously), you'll see secondary ticket prices rise. Until then season tickets are a bad deal. I thought I was treated great back in the day when I had full season tix. Sucks how they figure a new arena plus Giannis are your "perks".
