Re: 2019 Draft Prospect Watch Thread
I don't get to watch too much college basketball, but the most intriguing prospect to me is Reddish. I always try to visualize what a guy would look like in our system, and he profiles as a near perfect system fit. I wish he rebounded better, because you could argue the he'd be the perfect stretch 4 on this team. 6'8", 218lbs, 7' wing span, 8'10" standing reach 43% from 3, and can put the ball on the floor. This guy screams Atkinson PF.

at 6'8 218 I'd prefer him to be on the wing. Kurucs is quickly showing that he could be the answer at stretch 4 especially as he gets stronger.
Russell/LeVert/Reddish/Kurucs/Allen would be a nice young core to add pieces to. Cam is knocking down threes at a solid clip. He is a perfect system fit and as the losses mount I would not mind targeting him.

Kurucs is 6'9", 210lb. Why is he a 4, but Reddish a 3? I don't mind playing both or having Reddish at the 3. I just think he fits the mold of what a 4 is in this system.

Kurucs looks bigger than 210 to me
I'd rather have Reddish going against 3s and not fours.

Cam is not a PF from what I've seen. I'd rather have him on the wings tbh.

Re: 2019 Draft Prospect Watch Thread
Next 3 games are vs Thunder, Raps and 2nd night of back to back vs. Knicks...
We are easily looking at a 10 game losing streak... 8-20 record.
We might suck enough to get 3rd or 4th worse record if we continue to spiral. I don't think we are passing ATL or PHX though.
NY/CHI/CLE could end up with a better record.
I don't think we are tanking but we are just NOT THAT GOOD.
Very flawed young team but they play hard and get better which speaks volumes of coaching staff/Marks.
This draft could be the one we've been waiting for.

Neither is RHJ, Carroll or Otto. Once upon a time, Tobias Harris wasn't either. All of them are or would've been expected to play PF for us.
We play 4 or 5 out. I'm not expecting him to post up in a traditional PF sense. Position on this team tends to matter defensively more than offensively.

This draft is looking really good. It's time to tank. Were not making the playoffs and being the 10th seed would be an awful result.
Imagine adding Zion/Reddish/Barrett to this team with a rejuvenated Levert. Thats a great young core, plus we have the chance to add another free agent.

I don't think we have a say in the matter bud. This is what an organic tank looks like.

Happen to stumble in to this thread while swinging by the Nets board.. Bol's feet are way too slow for to play the 5, he struggles at the 5 defensively in many regards outside of rim protection. He's pretty strictly a 5 man.
I think you guys (say you stay around #5), should be looking at Little/Porter/Hunter/Morant, probably in that order.

I agree i've been following this draft class for a couple years and I always thought there are plenty of strong prospects out there.

I still think he fits well along with Jarrett Allen even though I do agree with your statement.
