He has a case but I don't love his contract status combined with how even when healthy he hasn't proven himself as a true franchise guy yet. Last year started hot but his numbers were still .099 WS/48 and -0.7 BPM

Sabonis and Siakam play on a similar level and have the exact same contract situation, but Sabonis is two years younger which gives him the edge for me. I'd take both of them over Richardson in a heartbreak though lol (if he doesn't pick up his player option - which he most likely won't - his contract runs only one year longer than Sabonis's and Siakam's, so honestly, I don't understand why he's up there already)

Just seems weird to see someone like Josh Richardson or Fox with suddenly so much more value. Doubt the Knicks would trade him for either. Maybe not the other way.
