Wrong.

I never said anything about where we picked  Knox's potential is right up there with everyone you listed. Why was he left off your list?

dakomish23 wrote: You didn’t answer the question:

Do you want Knox over all these guys? Simple yes or no.

Nope not simple. We don't know who'll be the best players in 3 years . So in my OPINION Knox has as much potential as anybody on that list.

This is what I’m talking about. You’re so adamant about defending what this organization did that you didn’t even comprehend what the original post was about.

It comes down to this:

Would you rather do what we did - sign THJ, play the vets over the kids, end up with Knox?

OR

Have cap space, focus on the kids, end up with Doncic?

I think we know the answer.

No point in stressing over it because at the end of the day it doesn't matter what you or I would rather do, or what logic would dictate a team should do, the Knicks are gonna Knick.

Houston creating a roster spot...wonder if they’re going to try and trade back for Ariza? They should take Courtney instead.

IF the Knicks are going to make a play for a big time FA, I’d rather have Anthony Davis over Durant.

Knox is nowhere near those guys posted.

Knox has been ghost for all but 2 games this season.

yea you probably want AD over KD but the rumors are about KD so it's not exactly knicks picking their first choice here.

maybe they can form an understanding and team up together or something.

(Runs away before people yell about Melo.)

I see a 2 things.

1. James gets to control the ball more(CP3 has missed a lot of games so far this season). They seem better for it on offense being that both Paul and Harden are at their best when they have the ball.

2. Their defense is abysmal and Mike doesn’t have the answers.

This lines up with what I’m seeing with them lately. Harden is balling but they still suck for all the hype.

I’m not sure they make the playoffs.

I’m just gonna continue to report your trolls. It’s old.

Houston has played more games without Melo this year. They are still struggling and currently are out of the playoffs.

They were literally better across the board with Melo on the bench, and now not even dressing. They are struggling, and yet they're still better without him.

His potential is right up there with those guys IMO. He's the youngest and unlike half of those dudes not the offensive focal point for his team.

i'd say it was a joke and not OT, since this is an around the NBA thread. thread designed for one-off comments about anything in the league.

3toheadmelo just randomly continued his obsession with the draft passing of DSJ. pointed? sure. OT? nah. not in this case.

greenie- mitch/awy was spicy, but you be spicy too on players you don't like.

awy- melo is still a sensitive subject here. this could be seen as baiting. let's all have a chill pill.

I'm not opposed to the idea that the Rockers are a less talented team without Melo but...I'd also like to add that Chris Paul has declined. Last season, when Chris Paul was injured that's when the Rockets abandoned half court game and ran...and ran...which led to their rise. And sure, losing defense definitely contributed to their lackluster season so far but...Chris Paul is a strong personality and maybe TOO stuck in his ways.

As for KD rumors to the Knicks being accurate...yeah I've heard this BS before when Lebron was trolling the Knicks. Last time KD was a FA, he was chillin' in the Hamptons and SPURNED the Knicks' phone call when the Knicks had the cap space in 2015!!!! When Phil struck out, he panicked: Traded for Derrick Rose and signed Noah to that ridiculous contract (plus signing CBA All-Star Lance Thomas, Courtney Lee). Think of all that money could have gone to Durant.

That would have been a team: Melo, KP, and Durant.

And so, everyone thinks, "Ooooh it's a different organization. Phil's gone. Durant will come." MAYBE...a huge maybe.

sorry. it just sucks to see DSJ progressing and frank regressing. DSJ is turning into an actual 2 way player while frank is still a one way player :nonono:

Dako, don't bother with this guy. If a guy can't take off the homer glasses to see when he's wrong, then there's no use.

Even NYKMentality was able to realize when he was wrong at times.

It might have something to do with DSjr playing in a system and for a coach who has actually given him a pretty long leash...

Also, I wouldn’t say one defensive stop, or one good defensive game, means anyone is becoming a two way player. His defense has improved from last year, but that’s partly because the bar was so low. We’ll see if it lasts, because he’s had some pretty terrible outings this year too.
