You are in fact petty. That’s why you posted those stats and said you’re “running” away.
It’s also why you had something to say to me after I quoted a poster saying Harden was tanking to get rid of Melo.
It’s passive aggressive. I know because I’m passive aggressive my damn self. The only thing bizzare is that you don’t see it. Taking backhanded jabs at a dude not even dressed is petty.
But I'm not petty. I follow Jacob and Dean on Twitter and saw that post, so I posted it. I posted it and "ran away" because I know how anything Melo related usually starts ****, going BOTH ways. For the 50th time, Melo was a problem but not the problem.
I responded to your post because you ignored the fact that they have played better with him on the bench / not suiting up than with him on the court. It wasn't a backhanded jab, it was a statistical fact that Houston has played better without him...I don't get why you think every post that doesn't make Melo's name glisten is an attack. I'd also guess than awy's post was a tongue in cheek joke, but I really have no idea.
Petty != passive aggressive. I know I'm (very) passive aggressive, but I also know I'm far from petty.
It is a jab. Like I said, dude isn’t even playing. Why we keep bringing him up? I know why. To take unnecessary shots. Melo the problem, but they still looking suspect and Melo isn’t playing.
You keep saying Melo was A problem but not THE problem. That’s double talk. What IS the actual problem since you wanna play both sides? You only ever seem to address the guy that’s A problem and he’s not even playing anymore.
Bottom line is, Melo is irrelevant to what you see in Houston. They have literally played more games without him than with him. Address that.
Nah...
Melo is A problem.

Third, any other player in the league you say "he sucks" about... people either debate it or just move on.
I get it. He was our guy. There was a long, divisive history with him. It's over. Not only is he not on the team but he may not even be part of the league anymore. It's just not worth this hullaballoo. Say your piece now and then and move on.
The Around thread should be about other interesting games on the schedule, up and coming players, player comparisons between great players, and the like and not just tracking our former players and bitching about our relative position to other tanking teams. What a **** waste. There is so much more to this game.

They are cruising. I know Doncic is a big piece of it but they beat the Clips the other day without him. I tuned in solely to watch him play but it turned out to be a great game anyway. Like the Clips, that team just seems well constructed and has good enough pieces to win.

gonna be interesting to see the battle to get into the west playoffs. you can't write off any team but the suns yet. the last month of the season could be crazy.

Wrong.
I never said anything about where we pickedKnox's potential is right up there with everyone you listed. Why was he left off your list?
Nope not simple. We don't know who'll be the best players in 3 years . So in my OPINION Knox has as much potential as anybody on that list.
This is what I’m talking about. You’re so adamant about defending what this organization did that you didn’t even comprehend what the original post was about.
It comes down to this:
Would you rather do what we did - sign THJ, play the vets over the kids, end up with Knox?
OR
Have cap space, focus on the kids, have better chance to end up with Doncic?
I think we know the answer.
fixed

Dako, don't bother with this guy. If a guy can't take off the homer glasses to see when he's wrong, then there's no use.
Even NYKMentality was able to realize when he was wrong at times.
I'm wrong..and those other team fans that didn't manage to luck into DONCIC were wrong too. And boy I wish I had one of those other rooks who can put up empty stats during losing efforts. They are all finished products after all , the pecking order is set in stone . Every single one of them are leagues better than Knox -a guy he helped take down the Bucks last week. Please don't bother with me.
