Defense has been good so far. Brooklyn has had to work for almost every shot

Weird first quarter. The defense had been mostly good, but whenver they got a little sloppy the Nets were able to convert that into points.

There’s few things in basketball that are more aesthetically pleasing than Schroder’s wrong-footed scoop layups.

how can anyone watch this offense and conclude that it 'flows more' and is better than last year with andre roberson?

If this defense continues, we will win. Brooklyn is lucky to be ahead at this point.

Yep. BKN has 5 o-boards in 1st.

Edit: 5 turnovers already too

Fouling three point shooters is about the only thing Abrines does consistently.

Also feels like the Nets are one of those teams they always lose to. Like the Magic have been always in close games over the years.

I feel like we are trying do too much on offense tonight. I think Billy’s trying to expand the offense, but our guys aren’t great at doing some of the things he wants them to do yet. You can tell he’s trying to push guys to do more.

The Dennis Schroder offensive show needs to stop.

What the ever loving f**k is going on? Checked my phone while waiting for my daughter to fall asleep and we were up 24-23 at the end of the 1st quarter. I come out, turn the game on, and we're down 38-26 and I watch Carroll get an and-one to make it 41-28.

And then Dinwiddie makes some complete and total bunk.

Ok, I see, never mind.

What's a foul on one end isn't a foul on the other and they're making everything.

Where are George and Adams? There are 6:30 minutes left in the half?

The Nets started making trash shots and we've been settling for worse ones...

Oh, and the Nets always play us tough no matter how terrible they are.

Always.
