Knicks fan here, wondering what the deal with Whiteside is. Seems like whenever he's unleashed for 30-35 minutes, he's extremely productive, at least statistically. Is his leash short because Spolstra doesn't like him, or is it that he's lazy, or advanced stats don't favor him, like what's the deal. Asking both because I'm genuinely curious and because his lack of playing time has burned me on fantasy, lol.

didnt you saw it earlier in the game when wade threw a pass to whiteside and he wasnt there to pick it up and wade threw a tantrum and walking by himself to the seats? the way wade look at him was of disgust and now we see that whiteside left before the game ended for no apparent reason

Mix of a lot of things...gives low effort at times, poor decision maker, hard to trust in close games
