Its soo obvious in this game and the last one against us, that Lonzo Ball was told to be aggressive every time you have the ball when Patty Mills is guarding you. He is two different players when Mills is on the floor and when Forbes is guarding him.

Glad we got the win and some guys finally stepped it up. One disturbing trend though is throughout that entire comeback and win in the 4th. Aldridge was not on the floor.
I know we had to go with the hot hand but this team is inconsistent enough. We aren't going to win many games without Aldridge.
We have got to figure out a way to get him to play well when other guys are playing well.
He seems to always get into a funk if he is not the number one option and since DeRozan has shown he is the clear number one on this team because Aldridge is not, he is falling into the same funk as he did when Leonard was here.

I asked this in the GB but didn't get an answer. I see alot of Spurs fans complain about Mills, but from what I've seen White is waaaaaay worse. Low IQ player with no talent. Can't defend, can't shoot, can't run an offense, but I don't see anywhere near the criticism directed at him as Patty. Is it purely because of Mills' contract that Spurs fans don't like him?

The contract is a big part of it, and I can't speak for anyone else on the rest, but my residual frustration with him is over a combination of two things: a seeming unwillingness to adjust his game for the benefit of the team, and an overconfidence in thinking that he's great at what he's only good at.

I agree that he's a better option than White, though.
