PP, I can't edit the title anymore. Could you add Dekker to the title?

Back of the envelope we could have about $50mm in cap room if we renounced rights to Mids, Bledsoe, Lopez, Brogdon.

I'll let Frank figure out the cap holds for each guy.

A little over $19 million assuming we don't QO Dekker too.

If things work according to plan, those picks will be right at the end of the first and second rounds.

Unless if we got the Suns to waive all protections for this year.

You can trade around the protections. So if the Suns don't get it then the Cavs will, etc

I love how Woj initially framed this as primarily a Delly move.

Cap expert needed to add a future first to get rid of contracts we could easily have traded when first signed.

Hmm.

You can also waive them though. Bucks and Suns could agree that the pick currently protected in 2019 becomes unprotected (conveys no matter what), and then we would be legally eligible to trade a 2021 1st (nonconsecutive years).

you can't trade back to back 1st round picks though. The Suns pick will most likely be sent in 2020.

It would be nice if this is for cap flexibility to do a lot more than just bring the band back together too.

I hope the band they'e dreaming of is bigger. Durant sized bigger.
