Anyone else just waiting for the other shoe to drop?
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

The Thunder are on top of this. They've been giving away their shoes so there's no other shoe to drop.

the level of defense doesn't seem sustainable, and if the offense doesn't make improvements we're going to see some regression. i think this is a 3-4 srs team. they desperately need abrines and patterson to make threes.

I enjoy game winners and huge comeback wins but I prefer if we can keep it simple this time

Why not? Maybe not as well as against the Pistons but overall...

Agree about the offense though. We are going to play a lot of solid Western conference teams this month and if we don't improve our offense I don't see us winning a lot of games. Russ in better shape hitting his shots will be a good start.

as of right now their defense is -7.6pp100 relative to league average. that would be the best mark over the course of a season since the 2008 celtics, comparable to the very best spurs defenses post-2004, better than any thibs bulls defense, etc.

i expect it to come down a couple points at least, maybe more, which would still make the defense elite just not historically elite.

I'm not really in the habit of posting on other team's boards, but I just watched your Thunder play the Nets to prepare myself for this game. Paul George... What he did... I'm speechless.

That was a GOAT-level fourth quarter, and I'm glad I (belatedly) watched that game and saw it with my own two seeing organs. I hope the refs call the fouls against him this time, because I do NOT want to see him get angry against the Bulls.
From the basketball's perspective, travel is a nice pause from being pounded to the floor.

Thanks for posting. I really don’t think he was angry as much as just hot. Russ is the one whose always angry, lol. How has Lauri looked? Rusty?

Hot or angry, PG sure was flexing like he meant it :D

Yeah, Lauri has some rust to shake off for sure, has to find his game legs and rhythm. Still posted a respectable 21/10 double double against the Pacers, although his shot didn't look to be quite there yet.

We are probably going to try and run some offense through Diallo and Ferguson tonight versus an awful Bulls team. Burton probably gets some run too. Presti needs to know what he has before trade deadline and before Burton’s 45 days are up.

Adams already got 10 pts. No one else has scored on OKC. It’s going to be a good night, fellas.

Adams versus the Bulls, looks good.
Carter is a good one.

I hope some of our other players start to score, and we rotate a bit better on defense.

You can tell our guys are coasting. Namely George and Westbrook.

Yikes.

What's going on? Turned it on we're down 9.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:
