Maten is the type of player that doesn't amaze you with anything in particular, he's not an amazing shooter or a great athlthe or huge,

He's just a smart, versatile, well rounded young player. Reminds me of a poor mans Pual Millsap.

Looks like the organization is trying to preserve the two way contract service time until a trade is made. Guessing once.Ellington is dealt for space we will see a full time promotion.

You are right, Maten is killing the JVers. He was great in summer league too.

Maten proved he's a legit 3 point shooter, being a 6'9 wide body with a good post up game and BB IQ - I think he's a legit NBA rotation player at least.

Duncan is preeaty one dimentinal - but hey, Kyle Korver had a 15 year career.
