Since the trade, it’s been really down,” Embiid continued. “I tend to get triple-teamed a lot. I was in the flow of the offense. I feel like I’m not any more. There’s not a lot of possessions on the block. I don’t know. We got to figure it out.”

I don't care enough to look it up to confirm it but a sixers fan called BS and said it with stats to back it up, since the trade Embiid is shooting better from 3! Said he was shooting 29% and since 33%! Also said his stats are nearly up across the board! So they put you in a position to play better but not the way YOU want it so it's a bad thing? SMH. If that fan is right, wth is up with that guy? Jimmy has made that team so much better!

We'd still beat them in 6,thoo.i agree they are better. Embiid needs to man up.
Good assessment:

Good trade for CLE. JR & KLove up next.

MIL added Smith for Dekker now. I like that move too. Shooting big fits them good, then he expires.

Hill was actually never really that great on D. He was just a part of some really good defensive teams in Indy that hid him.

He was solid, though, I thought, in SAS/IND - tho I can't say I watched him extensively by any means. Not thinking he could be Smart or anything, just wondering if he can not be a turnstile like he was in in SAC and CLE.

Unrelated, but my old school heart loves the Giannis quote in the wiretap:
I can’t work out with you in the summer and then play you in a few months. It feels weird. It doesn’t feel right with me. Like other players, it’s cool for other players, but I don’t. I don’t want to.

It's easy to just say, but at the same time, nobody else is even saying it....

12/44 from 3 = 27%.

The numbers say as much. Since the Butler trade in November, many of Embiid's offensive stats -- including points per game (28.2 to 23.8), field goal percentage (48.4 to 43.1) and 3-point percentage (30.2 to 27.3) -- have taken hits. He is going to the free throw line less, and in his past three games, he has made just 14 of 42 shots from the field, including 1 of 9 attempts from 3-point range.

6?

We'd beat them in 4 or 5.

We likely see them in the playoffs anyway, we usually can't get away from them lately.

Embiid and Simmons aren't winners. That missed windmill dunk by Embiid that Simmons just laughed at a couple of weeks ago described them in a nutshell. They are clowns who will never win anything.

Throw a cancer like Butler on top of that, and you have a circus.

Thank you! I'm not going to check this either. If it's correct then he's right. They are winning though and they weren't before, so yeah, it's not a good time to complain about your individual stats.

Exactly, prick sounds like he cares more about pumping up his own individual numbers than winning.

So, Dallas was trailing Houston 102 - 94, when Luka went on a personal 11 - 0 run. Pretty awesome stuff from a rookie. So smart of Dallas to trade for him. Meanwhile, ATL... lol.

What’s eerie to me having watched Kyrie is how similar Luka’s scoring game is - the handles and change of pace compensating for decent but not freakish athleticism..

I remember having arguments about DeMar DeRozan with people here insisting he was a really good player over the summer. I tried telling people that he had a negative net rating in all but one year in his career, but they came up with excuses and reasons to justify it.

Well, now, the Spurs are significantly WORSE with DeRozan than they were last year, where they played all but nine games without Kawhi, and hey; what do you know? DeRozan has a negative net rating again.

Like I said: DeMar DeRozan is not good.

The Kawhi trade was an absolute disaster for the Spurs.

Nope. Unless I am misunderstanding you, there were several people on this forum who thought DeRozan was a really good player and that the Spurs were actually getting good value in return for Kawhi.

Ignore the fact that Lowry had 0 points tonight, he does the little things! He draws charges!
