The bench was awful.

CJ -14
Val -9
OG -16
Delon -14

They missed 14 of their combined 19 shots. This is becoming a real thing.

Easy. Just get Derozan to play 15 straight minutes overlapping into the bench until almost when Lowry comes back in.

I don't get it, he must be hurt. I know he's making nice passes to ibaka in pnrs but he never even thought about driving to the rim. If you're healthy and an AS why are you not looking to score?

We’re gonna have to shorten the bench in the playoffs. 7 man rotation.

Anyone want to tell me one thing... why the **** did Leonard take a 30' shot with 7 seconds left? We just thought wtf. And then ... why did he dribble out the clock?

I haven't read the thread yet, just got home, but I gotta imagine I'm not alone here.

The Bucks were probably gonna foul - being up 3 and not wanting to risk us hitting a 3, so it was a catch and catch shoot scenario regardless. I'm just disappointed in Nurse's play call, that wasn't a well drawn play.

It was a good play call, got Leonard spotting up from the top of the key. Of course it'd be more ideal if he was closer, but usually you never get good looks like that right out of the timeout. Execution could have been finer tuned is all.

GG. You guys melt down worse than we (Bucks board) do after losses. And that’s something.

Thought both teams played extremely hard. Lowry was terrible. You guys did a nice job on Giannis, but he’s going to do damage no matter. It will be interesting to see how you fare on this upcoming stretch of schedule.

haha oh man you should just sticky this forum to see the outtakes from here. bandwagon fans will go hysterical even though they claim they have been fans for a long time. long time fans know it will take a whole season to win a championship - not 5 games.

yes most of the fans will complain about Lowry but they aren't saying the sky is falling and saying we must trade Lowry like most of the bandwagon fans here.

It is not dead quiet at the arena, getting so annoying having to read posts by 12 year olds who keep saying how dead the crowd is. It’s one of the loudest crowds in the NBA so do what you think the crowd is doing and shut the hell up. That is all.

Been saying this since last season, but this isn't always the case. I've been to games last year where it's just been dead silence for stretches at a time, it's been the case when watching at home. You can't limit silence in a broadcast mix, a threshold peak for actual crowd noise; sure. It's loud when the team is rolling and big plays are made, people are more so complaining when the opposite happens.

He’s not injured, it’s that we are so used to giving him a ready made excuse when he turtles that’s it 2nd nature to give him this out. Favourite part of the game for me last night was is when Jack called for one of his shots to go in and it wasn’t even close. Lowry is even clowning Jack at this point.

Seriously. GTFO. You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. I’ve been to over 300 Raps games live and I was in the arena tonight. The Raps fans were LOUD before Serge. The weren’t on mute.

Mike Breen who has been to every NBA arena said on Wednesday that Toronto has one the best fans in the NBA. I believe Breen over you.

Ooooh, Mike Breen said it? No way - OMG. Then it must be accurate

If you were at the game, you'll have missed Matty D saying the place was QUIET tonight. And why should our players have to goad on our crowd? There might be a reason we are worse at home than on the road. We are living off the notoriety of our fans in the past. I also went to GSW and it was quiet AF. Our in-house has no clue what is going on.

Mike Breen and other major american broadcaster's recollection of our crowd is due to their experience calling playoff games. How often does he call a regular season Raptors game opposed to a playoff one, and a lot of that compliment is based off of witnessing Jurassic Park firsthand over the years. Having the best fans doesn't necessarily equate to a loud arena.

During the Philly game last Wednesday, Breen commented on how loud the Raptors fans were. His statements were based on what his ears were hearing at that moment and not on what he saw in Jurassic Park in the past. That was a regular season game in early December 2018.

WRONG - I went to GSW and the crowd sucked for the first three quarters - same tonight. Matty D noted it on the broadcast today and Ibaka had to pump up our crowd. Then they started to care. Our in-house team is trash and maybe some of the rowdy fans have been priced out - whatever the reason - our crowd sucked - don't take my word for it - Matty D and Ibaka said the same thing.

Go to a game - and then report back

Really???? Because I was at the GSW game as well as about a half dozen other games this year so I’m not taking your word for it. The only time the crowd was quiet was the Pelicans game. And thats how sporting events work most times. The crowd is not on thier feet non stop from the first minute to the last in the regular season. There is no crowd in the NBA like that but there are very few crowds in the NBA that are as loud as ours during the 4th quarter and other big earlier moments.

Ok, take it another way
Of the 16 playoff teams, find me the team with a worse record at home than on the road. Oh wait, there is only one - it's us. Yeah, great. Our current crowd is getting a pass for our INSANE crowd in years past while our in-house team would be better off coaxing on a lacrosse game.

Edit: Just saw that Orlando also worse - great - we are in the mix with Orlando's fans

This is what people are going by, past reputation. I don't think a lot of people here watch games outside of the Raptors, the in-house crew by far one of the worst in the league. The fans show up down the stretch in close games, that's about it. They're clueless to the action majority of the time, they're reactionary; doesn't help that the in-house team is clueless as well. Go to Utah, OKC, Portland, Golden State and you'll feel the crowd for the full 48. The atmosphere is dead.

Then hit the two, foul, or get fouled from 3. That was a pretty bad shot or pretty bad call.

Down 5 with even minimal time and waiving the white flag... and not trying/shooting.... I dunno. Its a long shot but I don't like the easy surrender.

We can't make them shoot free throws or attempt a shot because we have no timeouts?!!?

Mike Breen in particular is a play by play guy for the Knicks, so he's been here more than enough for regular season games.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Can confirm. It was pretty loud last night too. If swearing was acceptable it would have been far louder.

People need to stop thinking the TV volume or broadcast produced volume is any indicator.
