Tough to beat elite teams when your 2nd best player is ice cold.....BUT, we still deserved to win this game. The Refs screwed us. again.

He’s not injured, it’s that we are so used to giving him a ready made excuse when he turtles that’s it 2nd nature to give him this out. Favourite part of the game for me last night was is when Jack called for one of his shots to go in and it wasn’t even close. Lowry is even clowning Jack at this point.

I''m starting to buy into the theory that he is. Nurse has over played him, and he fell a few times in the GS game. He rested versus Cleveland, and hasn't been the same since. If anything, he's mentally worried about aggravating something. Why else would he never drive, draw fouls etc..Everyone knows when Kyle's shot isn't falling, he can drive and draw one of those shooting fouls better than anyone. Why isn't he doing that anymore? He has to be nursing something.

don't think there will be enough time to do that tbh..u score a layup and foul..they will do full court press or just foul us intentionally afterwards

Then hit the two, foul, or get fouled from 3. That was a pretty bad shot or pretty bad call.

Down 5 with even minimal time and waiving the white flag... and not trying/shooting.... I dunno. Its a long shot but I don't like the easy surrender.

We can't make them shoot free throws or attempt a shot because we have no timeouts?!!?

Can confirm. It was pretty loud last night too. If swearing was acceptable it would have been far louder.

People need to stop thinking the TV volume or broadcast produced volume is any indicator.

But, but RealGMers can confirm that crowds in Utah, OKC and Portland are super loud for a full 2 hours based on what they hear on TV - yet Raps games are dead.

If Lowry's back is the problem, why does he keep doing that routine in the starting line-up intros?

I'm so tired of lowry, masai should have gotten rid of him, deebo, casey and jv (all bc's trash) long ago. This idiot makes 33 million a year, still talking **** about the team and masai. He should be humble he got over payed like that. Ever since that espn interview he's just been totally garbage.

Was at the game last night. A combo of Bucks hitting crazy 3s, Lowry disappearing, and the refs being doo doo (so many missed calls on us) led to the L. On to the next one.

I thought that this was one of the worst officiated games of the year.

However, with Milwaukee shooting the 3 ball like that, it will be hard to beat them.

Kyle's not healthy- left bench and went to the locker room 3 times.
I think he's either going to stay, or leave.

We should have lost this game by a blow out the way we were shooting. The good news is it wasn't a blow out. The bad news - we could've stole this game. But didn't because our play calling and execution was bad in the crunch time.

West coast games mean SQUAT. This one meant more. You need it for tie breakers. And to keep a MENTAL EDGE in playoffs. We didn't get it done. That's the disappointing thing.

As frustratingly hard it is to watch Lowry during this slump, at least he does other things other than score to help the team.
It's the bench that I can't stand anymore. I really believe that the bench were the ones who both costed the BKN and MIL games because they squander whatever momentum the starting lineup produces. Whenever the full 5-man bench lineup comes in they look worse than a D-League team.

Maybe he should take some of that 30 million and buy out all the Taco Bell franchises near him and have them boarded up. Eating like a 10 year old was bound to catch up to him. When you’re getting paid that much, at least put in the effort to eat properly and maintain your weight. Every year its the same thing with this clown. Come into camp in shape and then lose it all as the season goes on and wear out by March. How do you gain weight playing a 82 game season is beyond me. Only this time he came into camp out of shape and is already shot by December.

Is this a known thing, his diet? Or just speculation?

I doubt he’s pudgy from gouging on junior salads with ultra light dressing. More likely from BOGO burrito month at the Bell.

You know how much energy a NBA player expends during a season with games and practice? Do you know of any other player that routinely gains weight during the season? I don’t. Remember how difficult a time Bosh had to keep his weight on when he would bulk up in the summer?

Could be a different metabolism. I know there have been years when he really showed up to camp having worked hard on his fitness, and this year doesn't look like that. But to say he eats stupidly, like a 10 year old, seems a real unfair stretch, unless you know for sure. These guys have so much nutritional info available now
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Jack was joking last night above Brook Lopez hitting 3s, saying is this really the same guy? Used to be he was a pure low post player with the Nets, while the twin brother could shoot 3s. How long has Brook been shooting like that?

He had no problem with his metabolism during the summer when he’d shed 15 lbs in a month. You make him sound like one of those fat women who keep saying they eat like birds. Yeah maybe a vulture.

Even if he doesn’t eat stupidly then whatever he’s having, it’s either way too much of it or he’s eating way too late at night. He is soft and pudgy which is a disgrace when a team is paying you 30 million a year and you’re still only 32 years old. Have the decency to at least come to camp in shape.

How does this make ANY sense? The guy is taking charges on 260Lbs Joel Embid and playing hard nosed defense. So i guess his injury only "magically" shows up on the offensive end?
