Rick Barry is ranked very high, with his underhand shot.

For some reason I was thinking this belonged to scrub Jose Calderon

The player often compared to Curry, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf had a career average of .905 but didn't meet the required number of made FTs to qualify. 1200 made FTs was needed but he only made 1051 in his career.

Wont call him the greatest FT shooter until I see him take more midrange shots.

dude's a 2k pure sharpshooter, with takeover permanently activated, hot zone from everywhere on the floor, with a footlocker booster activated before game and all shooting settings turned up to max.... playing on rookie :nonono:

Still has a long ways to go before owning it. It's hard to keep up that pace for as long as Nash did

Yeah he has 800 less attempts than Nash. Not a done deal that he'll end up there, if he enters a FT shooting slump at some point in his career. But he'll definitely end up top 3.

Calderon holds the best season record for FT% at 98.1% in 2008-09. His all-time FT% is 87.3%, though.

The most important shots are somewhere between midrange and long 2’s.

When someone asks me for my shirt size, I always tell them "I'm too small for a large, but I'm too small for a medium. So I'd take an extra medium."

Agreed, he needs to get his butt in gear and take some midrange shots.

Clutch FT shooter to boot. His last missed FT in the 4th quarter of a playoff game was 4 seasons ago (missed one).

It was a fine comparison coming out of college.

Only idiots think that comparing two players suggests they are on the same level.

Absolutely nobody is saying Abdul-Rauf = Curry because it's blatantly obvious he's nowhere close. They have incredibly similar-looking games stylistically...the size and athleticism, crafty cutting, shooting 3s off the bounce, quick release, maintaining the dribble, similar passing stylistically. He was very close to Curry apart from the next-level shooting and handles. In terms of overall game it's by far the best historical comparison for Steph.

That's a pretty ridiculous stat considering how many playoff games he's played over the 4 years.
