We are better than we were before. We have a good coach, a legit franchise player and a really good young player whom we drafted (Bruce Brown). Things are painful now but a few more pieces and we'll be fine. The Front Office gotta work tho. If they don't do a couple of good trades we're ****, because this team is bad and unwatchable.

We already missed the chance to get something from Monroe, KCP and now SJ and we are not bringing back Ellenson. We need to do better with Kennard (either develop him or trade him while he still has some value) and we need to do better with our capspace/MLE. GRIII is not acceptable, Anthony Tolliver would've made a lot of difference to this team. He was a 43%+ 3 point shooter a great leader/locker room guy and a good defender.

Take a few games off, we should have an easy stretch after a few more losses lol

Dtp must be Jackson's agent or lawyer.

If the Pistons had a legit consistent 15-20ppg scoring SG, then Stanley would be fine at SF for defense.

For recognizing that not everything is Jackson's fault? He aint the same player, the man physically cant create separation anymore....you guys can complain all you want but his body wont allow him to do it. I also understand you cant give him the ball with 5 seconds left and THEN run towards him bringing your defender, giving him no option to drive and then blame him for missing the shot. It was a horrible possession, Blake has to be better. Blake said after the game that he has to do a better job getting his team better shots down the stretch of games. But yeah, I'm Reggie's agent...

Yeah, tonight Casey showed why he has the deserved reputation of struggling to make adjustments and being a poor offensive coach.

Again, I'm with you that Kennard should have been on the floor down the stretch over either Calderon or Stanley. But Brown not only earned the right to be on the floor in that spot, but he also needed to be. He is Detroit's strongest perimeter defender. You don't leave your best perimeter on the bench down the stretch of a close game. 3 point shooting is not everything, and spacing can be achieved in multiple ways. Brown was moving very well off the ball in this game, which helps loosen the defense.
Kennard was 2 for 5 from 3, Calderone was 0 for 4 from 3 and at least a couple of those were down the stretch. Poor coaching to go with "cool hand" Calderone. When 1 or 2 3's by Luke might of won the game, while stretching the floor while building his confidence. A long term poor coaching decision for the team and Luke.

Did you even watch the game dude? Did you see the awful TOs Luke had? or the dumb fouls he commited? He was unplayable tonight. Period. He was the worst player on both teams, followed close by SJ.

Poor decision would've been lose the game in a Kennard turn over or in an and one by Kennard on defense.

Fanboys are so **** annoying, as if it's not enough to watch this **** team play we also have to read fanboys complaining because their golden boy wasn't on the floor. So pathetic.

Do you guys seriously know anything about this game? If Kyle Korver was having a horrible game but his team had troubles scoring the ball the last 5 minutes of the game, would you bench Korver too? Kennard is the best shooter on the team....maybe Bullock is up there but that's irrelevant because Bullock wasn't active. Do you disagree with this? Who's a better shooter? Please tell me!

So when your team can't score for freakin 5 minutes and the biggest issue is spacing....there was no spacing, Charlotte had 2 guys to defend from the perimeter (Jackson & Galloway) and didnt have to really pay attention to Brown or Drummond at all....you guys understand it was 5 on 3 basketball? This is why they were allowed to double Blake so hard and so easily. Basketball 101.....if there are shooters around, defenders cant leave those shooters so freely and Blake can take his defender 1 v 1. But when you have Brown on the floor, that isnt allowed to happen. Hell when you have Drummond on the floor, that isnt allowed to happen....you basically just have to make sure Dre doesnt get an offensive rebound.

This isnt about being a Luke fanboy, this is about recognizing the team needed to score and needed another SHOOTER to open the floor up for everyone and when you need a shooter you simply should go to your best one. Especially when the guy just dropped 28 pts the night before.

Let me ask this- Last possession of the game you have the ball and you know the team is going to foul you and send you to the freethrow line. Do you sit your best freethrow shooter because he had a bad game the first 3 quarters? Noooooooooooooooooo. Man you guys need to learn the freakin game!

starting a point guard who doesn't play D, is not a reliable shooter and can't run an offense makes this team offense stagnant.

against Pelicans even the corpse of Josè Calderon was able to run an effective offense and a decent ball movement.

Charlotte is a solid team and we're down a couple rotation pieces and have two players back after absences. I'm not too worried about the loss. Actually if it encourages changes to be made with our losing streak becoming a national story after we lose to Milwaukee and Boston coming up that I'm even glad we lost.

7/8 seed play-offs mean nothing to me. It means a four game sweep exit to the Raptors or Celtics. We're not any higher seed than that, so every "bad loss" is a possible spot lower in the standings and a better pick. Given how strong the West is, 9th seed in the East is probably looking at 10th pick - as crazy as that is. So make the playoffs and get swept by Raptors and draft 15h, or miss the playoffs by a game and pick 10th. Give me the latter all day, every day.

You need to learn to read. Doesn't matter if Luke was the best shooter. He did so many dumb mistakes during the game, and he was more likely to do another than hit a shot.

At the top of my head, he threw a pass to Bruce Brown, when Brown was moving forward and Kennard threw the bass behind Brown. He fouled 2 different Charlotte players when the clock was almost done, they were in no position to shoot and had no one to pass.

Luke was unplayable. It has nothing to do about my knowledge about the game, I'm pretty sure Casey knows more about the game then you and me together, if you want to make that dumb argument.

Sigh. Just such a waste of my life/our lives. How about we trade for Mccollum or Beal and get the 4th-6th seed and beat Philly or Indy in the 1st round and pick 16th and add some excitement in my life/our lives.... Depresses the **** outta me to talk about the draft in December

I agree Jackson hasn't been the same since his injury. In my opinion he'll be out the door soon. His contract isn't bad at all now. Next year he's an expiring. If I were him I'd try to stay healthy and just keep working on my shot.

No comment on the game itself (which I didn't see), but man, how painful to see two teams with great historical jerseys/identities like the Celtics and Pistons, and have it be a black vs. gray matchup. I think Nike overall has higher quality products than what Adidas provided the NBA but what a mess their jersey scheduling/design has been..

^^^^ya I thought that as well. I just like our home whites and road blues. Don't like the greys. Alternate red jerseys are good
