I'd do this one if it was on the table.

I'm probably reaching here, but with all their injuries do you think The Bulls could make a deal for Monte Morris? Justin Holiday plus something (I'm not sure what that could be...Portis?).

Would you guys be interested in swapping Jabari for Gallo and asset for taking on that extra year?
Obviously Shai is off limits but what do the Clips have that could be of interest?
While clearly not the prize, I'd really like to have Gallo as a rental at SF while we find a more long-term solution.

Might as well take a contract back for Holiday if it can get us a projected late first round pick. No big name FA are looking to come here anytime soon anyway.

I'm with you. I'd take on deals that extend through next season for 1sts...If somehow the FO can do that and use RoLo, Holiday and Parker to get another 1st, or better yet 2 - sign me up all day!

Sorry to burst into your conversation, but just wanted to add on Monte Morris part - imo, hardly, since he is playing very well in role they need and is young on cost controlled contract.

Their only need is SF, and even there Hernangomez is quietly having a break out year while subbing in for Barton, who recovers. Once he returns, they are two guys deep even at that position.

Not sure we have anything to entice them (not speaking of Lauri or Wendell ofc). Closes thing would be Hutchison, but Morris is playing better at the moment.

One guy we might target on Denver is Malik Beasley who also had some pretty good games - still, he is already in his 3rd year of rookie contract and they have G. Harris starting at SG, so Huthc (possible long term solution at forward) + Holiday (short term depth) might be somewhat interesting for Nuggets.

What about:

LaVine, Holiday

for

D. Smith jr, Matthews

Bulls take a shot at potentailly higher ceiling player who has shown flashes of potential on offense while trying to adjust to role and fit in system where Doncic has the ball most of the time. He has become much more efficient offensive player and has improved as defender considerably this year. I think his fit on Bulls would be better for his development than Mavericks. Also, Bulls roll back cap space couple of years too.

Dallas, on other hand get a player more ready to contribute now and one who would at the moment fit better with Doncic, being a more suitable off ball player, but also decent secondary ball handler. Also, would be interesting to see what Carlisle could do for him as he has shown knack for developing guards.

I wonder if a Holiday/RoLo deal for Oubre would be enough?

I thought Hernangomez was mostly playing PF? Either way it doesn't matter...he's doing well and you're right...they're too deep and The Bulls don't have much that they'd want (other than players the Bulls wouldn't want to trade).

My basic idea is that I'd love to find a PG in a trade. Ideally someone who might do better in a bigger role. I like Dunn, but I'm starting to lose faith in him as anything more than what he currently is.

Beasley is a good idea, but I'd rather just keep Hutchison for now.

It's official now. They worked it out (See wiretap). Memphis is no longer in the deal.

Just saw that...
Have to think the Bulls would be interested in either Oubre (still) or Porter?!

Its possible, but Washington might be less inclined to trade Porter now that Oubre is gone (even with Porters big contract).

I have no idea if the Suns are looking to flip Oubre to another team.

I saw his highlights from the last game, his 3 ball looks more fluid now, if still a work in progress. I thought he was extremely solid last season, good defense and rebounding, a quality bench big. It made sense for him to go elsewhere, because we're 3 deep at C and PF, but it's a pity that basically none of those guys are long term guys. Vonleh would've been nice going forward. Yet another Bull that got away.

Why would the Hornets do this?

The Bulls would have to take Batum for them to even consider giving up Miles.

Did the Bulls even show interest in re-signing him?

With all the injuries that the Bulls have had he would've helped. He'd also be good to have just in case Portis leaves or is traded.
