When 10 sites are saying the same thing, yeah. Unless there’s a hidden conspiracy to hate on the Kings.

I mean there were multiple internet sources recently saying that 20 year old Masai helped Giannis's family immigrate from Africa LOL
Most of those sites are just copying or quoting one another

Luka is starting to live at the line, another very promising aspect of his game. Also, 11 assists to 1 TO against a very good defense, too bad the Mavs' own defense has been dog crap in the last two. Of course Luka played a role in that, but his D is not terrible in my opinion. It is passable so far, not nearly as bad as some other perimeter youngsters'.

He's really starting to live up to those pre-draft James Harden comparisons over the last few games. His shot seems to be off the last 5 or so contests, but I'd assume that he'll push through that slump eventually. He does seem to get a bit shot-happy at times as well, which can either be a good thing or a bad thing. I take it as a good thing, since it shows a willingness to try and take over.

Also, God have mercy on this board whenever Doncic inevitatably has his 40 point triple double at some point this season.

His defense in the paint is very good, it's at the 3-point line where he gets shook sometimes by those speedy dribblers, but then again, who doesn't.

no need for the link because its simply not true.

Perhaps....but there were certainly plenty of rumors about it.https://www.businessinsider.com.au/luka-doncic-nba-draft-stay-overseas-2018-5?r=US&IR=T
https://thebiglead.com/2018/05/17/luka-doncic-nba-draft-sacramento-kings-atlanta-hawks/

And a dozen more links are out there with similar sentiments that were never explicitly shut down by Doncic (he never mentioned the Kings nor did he meet or work out with them, thereby adding fuel to the rumors)

And there's no smoke without fire.

He met with them in Madrid and supposedly had that good conversation, that he believed they would drafted him.
It would be extremely difficult to work out with them or any other team, because he had last game for Real 2 days before the draft.

Murican media in a nutshell. They create smoke and fire and then everybody just re-reports stuff cause people are clicking.

If you ask me Vlade has a masterplan to somehow bring the whole ex-yugo squad next to Bags and Fox. Dončič, Jokić, Bogdanović, Fox, Bagley and on the bench Nurkić, Šarić

Well then you believe wrong because he was the consensus 2A/2B on draft boards buddy

which draft boards? Atlanta was fully committed to Trae, Memphis to JJJ and Dallas to Luka. Others even don’t matter.

Either you have the attention span of a goldfish or you are just trolling. Of course both things are possible.

To reiterate what I said two weeks ago when you brought up this exact same tired talking point:

The Kings didn't get anything because JJJ wasn't gonna play there (he refused to work out for them and all that), so they didn't want to take the risk of sitting at 5 and having him and Trae Young (who obviously would have been an extremely poor fit with Fox) being considered the best players available. It would have not been surprising at all if Memphis had taken Bagley over Jackson, and if Dallas represented Atlanta's only chance to trade down for Young there's a good chance they'd have drafted either Bagley or Jackson and left the other one for Memphis. Here's a pretty glowing pre-draft profile of Bagley on the Grizzlies' team site that says Ayton, Bagley, Jackson, and Doncic are considered the consensus top four players in the draft and concludes with "If the draft breaks right for Memphis, Bagley would be left as the ultimate catch on the board at No. 4." Quite revisionist to say the Kings were the only team in the top 5 interested in Bagley.

If you change it to be 20 or under (rather than teens when there isn't even that many 19 year olds to even play in the NBA) the list is then:

CP3 x 5
Lebron x 4
Wall x 3
Trae Young x 2
Marbury x 2
Fox x 2
Magic x 2
Holiday
Tyreke
A.Walker
Doncic

Still in quite good company although it's another one of those really handpicked stats.

There is only a select amount of players who even scored over 23 as a teenager ever anyway and most of the times it's Lebron, Wiggins, Booker, JR, Melo, Durant etc anyway.

The stats should be more reflective of a range of players. Doncic still looks awesome if you said players to score 23 and 12 in their first season of which he is in with CP3, Lebron, Wall, Young, Marbury, Magic, Tyreke, Teague, Tinsley, Stoudamire, Simmons, AI, Robinson etc anyway

Ayton dominating on both ends tonight.

His defense has been unbelievable the last month and the stats appear to be showing that as well.

Offensively he has been slightly down but has been much more aggressive and playing better with Melton as the PG in the lineup.
