Not just a reaction to tonight, but TJ Warren is in my MIP race

I think like 15% of the Suns wins the past couple seasons can be attributed to Dallas.

He's actually making 3s. Prior to this year I'd always considered him a negative contract and kind of negative player, but he's at least a plus offensively and I think passable on defense. I'm so confused how Dallas lost twice to them.

We always lose to Phoenix. I don't think we've beat them in like 4 years. I know they swept us last year. For whatever reason that's just a team Dallas can't figure out.
Last night was easy. Team couldn't make a 3 to save their lives and wouldn't stop turning the ball over. Suns didn't play good either, but they managed to be less inept than Dallas.
Of course we all know the real reason they lost was because Barea was out.

Why aren't you including George or Harden?

Good God this is such a loaded year, I love it. LeBron, Durant, Curry (when healthy), Kawhi, Giannis, Davis, Embiid, Harden, Westbrook, George all killing it. This might displace 2017 as the most loaded year in a long time.

Without digging too much into it right now Giannis seems to be the logical choice for #1 right now. After that I don't think there's much separating the rest, but plenty of time left.
on a semi related note where has Doctor MJ been? dude's always running this thing

Jokic too.
Pretty crazy how much talent is in the league right now. Even the rookie class looks incredible.

I would assume he is busy with teaching and hopefully he pops in during his Winter Break to give some of his insights on the Lakers with LeBron, Kawhi on the Raptors, and Westbrook playing great basketball outside of scoring.

I'm surprised by LeBron's given he was negative for the first 15 or so games of the season.
The Pelicans have one of the worst benches in the league.
I'm a big fan of the Nuggets usage of Jokic.

Where would you guys rank Westbrook's defense among guards this year?

He's definitely been above average, and really active. Not sure where he ranks but top 10 or so wouldn't be out of the question, and higher if we're only considering star level guys.
Was actually coming here to note PG is right now in both MVP and DPOY running to me. He's been incredible in every facet almost nightly.

It looks like everything has come together for him. Another cliche that applies is that the game has slowed down for him.
Maybe it has to do with playing in a small city with another legit star, and being locked up contract wise. In any case, he's been legit this year, a pleasure to watch.

I would hope people don't use on/off as a primary form of judgement. RPM is miles better on several levels if you want to just look at one measure.
LeBron's meager on/off, but massive impact last year should've opened some eyes.
Swinging for the fences.

I'd trust RAPM a bit more, the box score prior is a weird effect

RPM is still better than on/off by a large margin.

Oh agree there totally, just saying I'd prefer RAPM over either. Someone on APBR has it going for the season.
