Pretty big hole they’ve dug in the standings.

Either way, they looked good tonight, much to be proud of for Suns fans.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
They are playing really well but they are so far behind that a 4 game win streak isn't really something to get excited about. If anything it ruins the tank.

If they get RJ they will be.

They had the hardest schedule of pretty much any team the first 20 games and now finally have a fully healthy team who gel together well in Melton - Booker - Bridges - Warren - Ayton.

Perfect balance of offense (Booker, Ayton, Warren) and defense (Melton, Bridges, Ayton (been a stud the last month defensively)).

This is the team people were hoping to see at the start of the year.

naw still terrible. Celtics just had a bad end of the 3rd/start of the 4th. then was just trading baskets. if I were to complain about the Celtics overall I don't think they move the ball well from Tatum/Brown/Morris. for as many playmakers they aren't there.

A few notes about the Suns:
 • Started off with the most difficult schedule in the league / playing the least amount of below .500 teams
 • Struggled with injuries. This is really the first time this year that Booker is healthy. Missed all of training camp/ pre-season and was in and out of the rotation struggling with various injuries.
 • Rookie coach inheriting a team with a bunch of new players who need time to gel. Suns current starting rotation has 2 players (booker / Warren) from last season. And only one bench player (Jackson) who survived from last season.
 • Extremely young team. 25 year old TJ Warren is the oldest player in the Suns starting line-up, 3 years older than the 2nd oldest player Devin Booker. The rest of the starting line-up consists of three rookies.
 • Given the difficult schedule, the wins recorded prior to this win streak were all against quality teams: Bucks / Mavericks / Spurs / Grizzlies.

I'm expecting the Suns to continuously look better as the season progresses, they're not as bad as the first part of the season would have you believe.

Ariza lockerroom distraction confirmed.

Involved in the Houston-L.A. incident : check.
Quiting and not being part of the rotation of the worst team in the league: check.
New team wins without him against the Lakers and then starts to lose when Ariza starts playing for them: check.
Old team starts going on a winning streak the moment he departs: check.

/s

On a serious note, the Suns have a lot of shooting, if they get hot they can win. I hope for their sake, that they start having a better system and also having a high pick (being in the western conference should help).

Even the guys who've just won 4 in a row? Seems counterintuitive.

Whose the best realistic star they could get?

You put 2 All-Stars with Booker, Ayton, Warren and they're a threat.
