When I go to the ESPN site for the Pistons’ offseason plan, I get a blank screen.

How ironic.

Looking 100% right now. We're going to be slotted right in that 7/8 seed spot and at best we're getting one win.

Since this year? Casey has been absolutely terrible. Stanley brick low% 3s with 19 on the shot clock of out time outs? Consistently unprepared going into the 1st quarter.? Drummond 40% 4' weak post shots all game long? He is 2 games worse than SVG with the same roster other than Griffin over Tobias.

Definitely agree with you 100% and nobody can deny it. But you also can't deny that we're not making a trade this season. It's likely going to happen so you have to stay patient. Blake keeps you relevant but all he needs is one more star and the team will blow up. We've found our superstar lmao you know how hard that is!?!? Just need to get lucky once more. It'll come, be patient.

This year isn't about competing. It's about making it to the Playoffs to clearly figure out what we need (everything), get the most value out of our players if there's anything left we can salvage. Regardless, our payroll is going to be so much better next offseason. We'll be able to retool a lot better than you think. Just be patient. Every team has a starting point guard but us haha eventually a star point guard will want a starting gig and he's got Blake and Drummond waiting for him to get 10 assists a game.

Yeah I believe so. We'll have expirings waiting to be dealt which is easy once teams strike out on all the stars in free agency, they'll start looking at the next offseason. Happens every year.

My prediction is the league is going to be saturated with SO MUCH talent that there'll be two max contracts on each team.

Just think about how much talent is coming into the NBA. Doncic is not a star. He's a superstar, it's been 30 games in his rookie season...Fox is a star, just watch him play. Guys like Ayton haven't started at all. Just last year we had Simmons and Mitchell. You guys understand the league is SUPER SUPER talented right now? Guys like Cousins and Porzingis aren't even playing and Anthony Davis is ONLY 25 years old!! I'm telling you there's an abundance amount of talent coming into the league lol Zion and Barrett are coming next season lmao.

My point is, eventually guys want a starting position. They want to be the starting point guard of their team. There's simply not enough money to go around coming off the bench for a contending team. There's a ton of point guards in the league and eventually one will fall on our team. We just need to get rid of Smith or Jackson. Truth is we have one of the worst point guards in the league and it's embarrassing.
