YOUR Washington Bullets are now 13-21!

The playoffs are not happening this season. The delusional front office believes it still is. But we hope and pray their days are numbered!

Wednesday night, the worst front court in the NBA faces arguably the best front court in the Pistons. Blake Griffin is having an All-Star season. Drummond has been great as well. They'll probably have 30 rebounds between them vs. the Wizards.

Troy Brown and Devin Robinson both look like they’re unhappy not being included in the Wizards Christmas greeting.

Sam Dekker been on the team for 2 weeks and is front and center.

I’m going to resist making a crack about the size of Zaza’s head and ask an actual basketball question.

Is Otto playing?

Wizards have to go 31-17 over the next 48 games to finish with 44 wins, that's a .650 pace... That would put them anywhere from 6th to 7th seed, and this year it'll likely take 40-42 wins to secure the 8th seed.

So, at a minimum they'll need to go 27-21, and a win against the Pistons would go a long way since that's one of the teams they'll be competing with to earn a spot in the playoffs.

From a tanking perspective losing to the Pistons would obviously be a boon.

That is typical work by the Wizards organization. Really unbelievable. 9 players.

Ariza has been here one week, but he makes the cut.

How obvious can it be? Are you a team or not? If so, then Randle, Baker, White, Robinson, Brown & McRae all need to be there.

& so does Dwight Howard!! :) !!

Leave aside the question why Otto Porter is facing away -- unlike anyone else.

Pathetic.

Edit: also no Ian Mahinmi.

Who is at the helm of this ship of fools? Why, yes, it's... Ernest Grunt-Fall.

All we have to do is play .600 ball rest of way and will match my prediction of 42 wins. Thought that would be easy before this instagram fiasco.

There is some logic to it. Those 9 guys are the current 9-man rotation once Porter gets back (pushing Baker and Randle to the end of the bench). For the next 3 months, I'd be willing to bet that those 9 guys will get more minutes than anyone else.

Randle, Baker, White, Robinson and McRae are walk-ons with no future in the league. They're just practice bodies. I'm sure they're already aware that they're not a factor in the future of this organization.

The two guys whose absence is notable are Brown and Howard. Maybe Howard's omission is a not so subtle suggestion that he should opt out this offseason. The Brown omission is probably because they don't want people remembering that we never play our first round draft pick. Omitting those guys was a mistake. They're under contract next year and there's no good reason to alienate them. It's a self-inflicted damage.

Both teams have same record from last 25 games (11-14)! Let's hope Pistons get their mojo back and win this by +20 points.

2 Wall thoughts. I have to get an answer on Wall's bulk. Throughout his career he has been a much better player, the lighter he is. Last season he didn't play well, had bad knees, missed time, came back lighter, and looked great. Even he himself credited the weight loss and said that he was too heavy so why come to camp looking like this? Some say he's overweight and out of shape. He and others say it's bulk but even if it's bulk, why? It just doesn't make sense, especially with the rules nowadays on freedom of player movement and teams going small. Why take away your biggest advantage especially when you have never ever been a shooter.

I gave him the benefit of doubt because everyone was saying that he worked out with the same guy who transformed oladipo's body but he got shredded while Wall got bulky and the crazy thing is that he's not even posting up smaller guys or doing anything powerful in his game to take advantage of it. It's basically like he intentionally neutralized himself. Someone should tell him to get lean again and blow by people.

The other thing I want to talk about is his contract. It's always the big topic now but everyone only addresses it in terms of size and not being able to trade it. We also talk alot about him not playing hard but I never hear about anyone correlating the 2. He honestly seems like a guy who stop playing hard because he lost incentive after getting the super max. It's hard to control a guy or make him pay hard when he knows that he has 40 plus coming every year no matter what. Should have waited to pay him strictly on that alone.

All in all this game or stretch seems like do or die to me and it starts with Wall. Both the team and Wall need to flip the switch now or you are who you are. Wall is getting ripped by everyone, our backs are against the wall(no pun intended), and he just had a baby. Their is no excuse not to bust your azz. Where is your pride? I totally get it. Ernie and Scott are horrible and it can be draining but your jersey still says Wall on the back and you are still putting things on film. Where is the want to have your name back in the elite conversation? It's disappointing to me that he is going out like this and doing it without a fight at all. Do you want to be great or not

Detroit Country Day is Chris Webber’s Alma mater. So clearly we are resigning him. Now all we gotta do is get Carmelo Anthony and our lineup is Wall, Beal, Melo, C Webb, and Dwight.

Yup- that’s the reason I’m still a Bullets fan.

Playoff in or out game already? :D Maybe its the middle of 1 half of the season, but this game should be pretty significant for Wizards.
