Funny you say that about the UI, I had the same issue. First time I fired it up I didn't have a clue what I was doing and ended up doing Smash mode (I think that's like free-play) for the first hour before figuring it out.

us too. had to eventually google it to find out what to play, and even now im not sure we were in the right part of the game. we wanted to do co-op storline, or the closest thing to it. we play something that kept us busy, and it made her happy enough, which is good by me.

not only is the ui ugly, its also not useable. i dont know who created it but they should be fired forever.

It's utterly horrible. I work in software design, have studied a lot of User Experience things. And as someone who knew very little about smash, I have absolutely no idea what the point of anything in the solo "adventure" game is (and I've played it for about 5 hours).

THIS SHOULDN'T HAPPEN.

Not to mention, the horrible actual UI, the lack of transparency for unlocking characters, and the complete lack of any tutorial.

I am traveling for 18 days (2 days down) which means I’ll be playing a lot of Disgaea 5 for the next few weeks. Game is **** absurdly stupid (purposefully) but the strategy is fun and it’s super grindy.

My mother-in-law bought all her children PS4s and RDR2 for Christmas. What are the other must-have games for PS4? I remember hearing Uncharted 4 is supposed to be really good. Is it necessary to play the first three?

Without knowing their tastes, I'd say the easiest to recommend came out this year in Spiderman and God of War. But ESPECIALLY Spiderman.

Not necessary but definitely pays off story wise.

Horizon Zero Dawn.

If they've never played Rocket League or Minecraft those are really solid games that any age can play.

You literally play the game and unlock a character every 10 minutes. You can also unlock characters in the adventure mode. There's also a tutorial. I think you're completely missing the point as to why people play Smash.

Been chugging along in the KH's games. Beat 1 and 3/4 of the way through Chain of Memories. Should be right on schedule with the KH3 release.

Finally unlocked all of the available characters in Smash. Still don't know who to "main" at this point. Have a few options that I enjoyed, including ROB, Little Mac, Young Link, Mega Man, Mewtwo, and Bayonetta.

I agree that World of Light is unnecessarily confusing.

So yea, picked Smash up after work. Only played it for under two hours or so but I'm enjoying it. I was a NES/SNES kid and abandoned the brand for 20+ years, so I honestly don't have a clue who most of these characters are. Needless to say I also don't know how to play Smash at all. But I'm sticking to classic mode and once I finish a character over there I switch to a VS match because a challenger usually shows up. Unlocked about ten fighters so far. Was annoyed at first I couldn't just play as a Belmont but I've come around to appreciate having to play around with everyone else.

Looks like I've unlocked all but 11 characters in about a day.

Enjoying playing as Richter, Chrom, Pit, and Inkling. Incineroar, Dr. Mario, and Dark Suit Samus can suck my d*ck.

Some of you have gotten friend requests. Name on there is DrugBust.

Since Christmas I've done nothing but play RDR2 and talk to my dog. It's been glorious.

Incredibly jealous. With my wedding and a sister who is getting married I need to save all PTO possible. Fortunately I have Monday and Tuesday off next week and I plan to do the same.

I’m like just shy of 30hrs into World of Light. It took a small turn I didn’t expect, but I’ve been enjoying it. Collecting the spirits has given me a real great reason to keep playing by myself. Super hooked, definitely my Game of the year with Dead Cells and Monster Hunter: World.

Little Mac is so, so, bad. But he is an absolute terror in the World of Light. Glad I'm using him here to destroy computers' dreams before I try and use him against anyone else and have my dreams destroyed.

I know it's probably been discussed 50 times already, but is a sound bar the way to go when I buy my new TV? I've never used anything but the crappy built in TV speakers.
