Igor Igor Igor. Everyone saw that Kelly and JJ were being schooled by Westbrook and Bridges was doing a great job guarding Westbrook but you took him out in the 4th and OKC pulled away. Nice coaching

Yeah, Doncic could've fixed everything - he even has the balls to say "no" when God asks to take a piss.....

I've watched the game and that play was designed for DSJ. Luka was pissed cos' DSJ took too much time to get the shot off and he missed the layup as well. RC wanted the OT and used Doncic as a decoy, but i don't understand why they just didn't go for the win. Luka basically kept them in the game single handedly, AGAIN. Was just one of those games where veterans were doing stupid things.

Carlisle trying to be cute, ball should of been in Doncic hands.

Archx is right, Luka was pissed b/c of the missed layup after regulation, not the play itself.
Carlisle is a a good coach, I kinda like these plays better than the usual "give it to your star to ISO" stuff.
Plus imagine what would it be like here if Doncic gets the ball, and sinks a buzzer-beating 3 pointer for the win and finishes with 37 points and 8/11 on 3s. :D

What did EJ say?

amongst some other things, ayton needs to take some of his fouls n play tougher. booker needs to trust his teammates n move the ball down the stretch.

Preach it EJ!!! Exactley what was (and usually is) with this team nowdays, even though they have improved and got a ton better since the begining of the season.

Silver lining: it s a learing process. For Booker to trust teammates - he only had **** ones and not-so-good-ones (maybe some OK one dimensional ones) in his first 3 seasons. Now he has Ayton, new and improved TJ, (Bridges, Holmes, Oubre, JJ to lesser extents).

Ayton is a rookie. But I completely agree that 0 fouls and 0 blocks is not good for an athletic 7 footer if he plays 32 mins. My coach always told the big guys that they should get 3-4 fouls in a game, becouse you are there to challange shots, and protect the paint (maybe put some small guys on their butt if they come dancing in the lane too much). This is especially true if you had 0 fouls in the first half, and the game is tight (we were tied at the begining of the 4th '!!!) - ramp up your defensive efforts! No easy layups! Grant and Adams are both poor FT shooters, make them earn it from the stripe... But again, he is a rookie, he will learn these I suppose.

-We need to pull Melton out of the starting line-up. He's just not there yet. Sure he provides OK defense, but im sorry, i'd rather just move Booker to the Point at the start and substitute Melton with either Jackson or Oubre in the starting line-up. They will give you that same D we get from Melton (Maybe even better D), but also scoring along with some intangibles that they have that Melton just doesnt posses quite yet in his career.

Seriously, he is averaging 3.6 points over the past 5 games (2 games with ZERO points!). His defense hasnt even really been that great either. For every decent play he defends, there is around 5 or 6 that he just screws the pooch on.

Booker/Jackson/Bridges/Warren/Ayton

or

Booker/Bridges/Oubre/Warren/Ayton

or

MAKE A TRADE FOR A PG ALREADY! I mean Christ, we have guys like Daniels and George and Okobo and Bender and Anderson with ZERO playing time, im sure there has to be a deal that can be made with one or two of them going out along with the Bucks 1st or even a protected FUTURE 1st from us.

Thats it, that my Hot Take.

This,this and THIS.

And another “L”! What does Luka have to do with this game Bruh? Suns aren’t in need of his over abundance of turnovers per game and he’s baby pouting.

This team is better than 9 wins. It is. Igor is a nice and smart guy but I don’t think he’s an NBA head coach. I don’t think this team is playing to it’s potential.

We need to utilize Ayton more... he has a nice post game and has the vision to make the right pass.. in my opinion, we should stop trying to ISO booker so much and run our offense thru Ayton. Especially when the three’s ain’t falling down . Having said that, the Thunder are a really good team and yesterday game was a clear indication that wer’re not that far away from being a playoff team.

Bingo and Igor needs to stagger Warren, Booker, Aytons minutes. Can’t have them all sitting at the same time. (Side note: Igor severely misuses Ayton).

Again, I think Igor is a smart guy BUT I don’t quite get the feeling he knows what he’s doing all the time. I feel like he’s learning on the job which is completely opposite of what this team needs right now.

Igor is to blame for this loss. Bridges was doing a excellent job guarding Westbrook and he took him out in the 4th with Kelly and JJ guarding Weskbrook and he schooled them both.

It was a bad shooting night for too many players with the name PHX on it. Ran with them for 3 quarters then went even colder, **** happens. They are a defensive dynamo, great defensive team all over the roster, I'm not embarrassed about this.

It's so refreshing to see optimism after losses now rather than the toxic vitriol (myself included) that followed every loss during the first 20 games of the season.

It's hard to be optimistic when it's just a 1st quarter and it's a blow out already. Suns may not be good team right now but at least they aren't pathetic anymore.

Especially if he's the one shagging balls and kicking them out to the others to shoot.

A 50 year old man out whatever he is who's been around basketball all of his life, n he seems to be learning on the job is a huge red flag. Some guy who has not, like myself, should not be able to, in real time no less posting on a message board say "Crawford n Booker, were going to get killed", but it is happening. I really hope he improves for winnings sake, but man it's looking unlikely. Unless of course sarvers got a hand in his minutes n lineups being dealt, then Igor's hands would be tied. Unlikely though.
