A well-played move in an attempt to outlast the Grunfeld administration.

This is bad. Not just Wall being hurt again but another excuse for Ernie to survive this mess. Get healthy John!

Somewhere, a NatP4 is jumping in joy.

Get healthy, John.

He for sure has more than this one injury. I would consider shutting him down for the rest of the season if we continue to lose. No point in being a fringe playoff team at best. I would take a top 10 pick over a 1 round exit all day.

Yep, you have the feeling that this is a season ending "string" of injuries. Good luck trading him now :(

At this point I don't see a reason for him to prolong this decision. Season is trash with minimal chances to make playoffs.

Reload with draft, trades and fresh start in new season without overpaid FA.

On the other hand Wizard have super expensive untradeable player in Wall who might decline even more who thinks he is an all star but plays like a big diva looking for excuses everywhere rather than himself.

Take the surgery. Hope Otto gets better. Have to trade him and or Beal. Build around lottery pick. Get new coach next season. Let Brooks coach out the season because he’s the guy for the tank.

I feel bad for Wall now. Apparently he's been sacrificing more for the Wizards franchise than any other human on the planet.

Just goes to show you what kind of second rate organization the Wizards are.

He's had this issue for years and the team didn't think Wall should get it sorted?
