Yeah you can be mad at him. His defense is atrocious and his offense clogs the paint and yet he doesn't want to accept how that is not conducive to team basketball.

Kanter getting scapegoated somehow again?

Take a look at the Knicks shot selection then get back on this.

I watched the 1st quarter and knew better.

LFT out there with Tammy and Mudiay?
Knicks in a zone and giving up layups in the paint? Uncontested 3's? And even though the Jazz nearly scored 40 in the quarter, I counted a couple of clean Korver looks from three that usually go down.

I don't get the zone. I realize there are some injuries. I realize Kanter sucks on defense. There are still enough decent individual defenders to play man to man, switching, whatever. The zone just sucks. And get Miami zones effectively etc etc. Well, this isn't preseason, the zone doesn't work.

Then again, the Zone is tank play supreme. I wish the Knicks would have thought of this last year.

This season has officially become Zion or bust. Let’s just call it what it is.

Nope just Kanter bitching to the media about his role again

Take a look at him defending a pick and roll then get back on that.

Ya’ll need to kill this mindset because there is a 0.02% chance we land Zion. Prepare to be disappointed. Look at other prospects.

At the moment, there is 14% chance. No team has 0.02% chance at getting him, it is 0.5%, at worst.

I think everybody is also forgetting his life situation. He probably is only in the States on a work visa. What happens if nobody hires him as a player? He us a man without a country, I believe. So he probably takes this a lot more emotionally than most.

The guy can still be effective in a limited role. He's delusional though.

His political situation should be a powerful motivation for him to work on his defense...

I may want Kanter gone but to scapegoat him is ridiculous.

This **** ain’t his fault.

I blame the front office

Kanter doesn't care about winning games. He wants to play a lot of minutes to pad his empty stats, hoping teams look at stat sheets instead of game footage.

Guys, you DO realize that yesterday by the end of the game Utah's 2nd to 3rd tier "no name" lineup played on par with Knicks "future" kids. On par! many of Utah's 3rd tier players will be out of NBA sooner than later. makes you think, doesn't it? The real question here is who can actually be the core of the future Knicks, who can be developed into something? In my book: Knox, Robinson and Vonleh, all others are wet dreams and imaginations, including Frank. Either you have it in you or you don't. Fiz can fix EM as much as he wants, but if you have tunnel vision, then you will have it for the rest of your life. The same applies to Frank: either you have offensive instincts or you don't. That can't be taught.
