There's little to no evidence for this. 60 something 3s as a garbage time player is not convincing me of some guy's ability to shoot.

But that's besides the point: This guy is not an NBA level player and should not see the court, period. Don't get caught up in some turd suddenly having "a game". It happens all the time, all over the league. Hell, we've been the recipient of a hell of a lot of scrubs suddenly coming out of nowhere against us. They're still scrubs despite those games.

Remember early after we picked up Brewer when everyone thought his three point shooting was so great and he was clearly better than Roberson?

Brewer shot 45 % or so from 3 in the Playoffs. What a season

nader is 35% career 3pt shooter in the g-league. 37% his last year in college. 34% career nba (lowest volume of the three). so i dunno. 'nader can shoot' might be true if our threshold for 'can shoot' is slightly below league average. i feel slightly better about his shot than i did about josh huestis', for whatever that is worth.

Well, I think you hit the nail on the head. Our threshold is pretty low because we need to find shooting where we can. More especially with Patterson’s shot just being virtually non-existent relative to expectations.

I don’t think Nader can all of the sudden ball. I’m simply saying he might be able to give us a little more than what Patterson can. I don’t think it’s crazy to think that. He should at least get the chance...

Starting Nader over Ferguson? What in the world?

Nader looks slow to me.

We are matching up with Dallas.

Carlisle going big with:

Smith/Barnes/Doncic/Kleber/Jordan

Beautiful decision-making and footwork in the post by Adams. It’s against Kleber, but I’ll take that any day.

Doncic might be the slowest player on the court right now, but probably the craftiest. At age 19.

To be fair, that was a clean block by Kleber on George. I’m low-key a fan of Kleber. Kleber would be a nice stretch 5 to have in the playoffs.

Ferguson is taller than Nader. So...

Agreed. Kleber isn't freakishly long, he just has insane timing on the blocks.

I agree 100%. Interesting to see Dallas going big. Probably thought they were going to attack Ferguson tonight but Donovan said nah and put Nader in. Heads up decision-making by Donovan.

Ferguson is taller than Nader. So...
Maybe a trade is imminent. Read between the lines.

Like I said, Nader can at least hit the open shot. We can’t even trust Patterson to do that right now.

Lol... I’m guessing you are poking fun @ me? That’s fair.

Ferguson may be slightly taller than Nader, but Ferguson is smaller than Nader. Can’t believe I had to explain that...

You’re realize Nader isn’t playing the four, right?

What he lacks in athleticism he makes up for by being just a smart, disciplined player. That’s Dallas in a nutshell.

You know what? I can see Schroder fitting in, in Dallas, but they should really be targeting a 3&D point.
