Hope Monk finds his consistency next season while gaining on it this year. You see his potential...

Cody with broken bone in his hand. No word on how much time he will miss. Willy and Frank show coming up.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Why not just keep playing Cody? He doesn't shoot and he can't catch passes with good hands anyway. Pretty sure he can set screens and contest shots with a broken hand.

There we go, the Cody injury.

Unlike what some are saying, i think this team is pretty consistent since the last two years.

More small ball, just what they needed :banghead:

ps : Happy new year everyone :D

Great game last night by Monk and Graham. But now it's time for our annual Cody gets hurt and team goes on a massive losing streak, just in time for Martin Luther King Day. Which brings me to my favorite random stat,,,, it's been 18 years since we were over 500 on Martin Luther King Day.

When Kemba is seeing the floor and passing the ball like that - forget about it. He’s pretty much unguardable.

What an exhibition by him last night.

Give him the super duper kalamazooka max contract.

Legitimately shocked to check the stats and find that Kemba only had 7 assists.

Felt like he had about 15.

SO impressed with his court vision, passing and decision making last night.

Plus the razzle dazzle dribbling. That’s always fun.

But the passing last night - oh my the passing.

Cody broke his hand on a jersey. Get that man some milk

As good as Lamb has been this year I'm still not convinced his style of play is conducive to winning. I know I know, "but he has a 16 PER."

DGraham on the other hand. Those 3 steals 4 assists and easy on the eye 3 pointers turned this game into a runaway. That's the kind of support Kemba needs

not gonna get too excited cuz ORL without Vucevic like a G League team

But I am happy that Borrego doesn't keep his young players in the doghouse.

with this roster, improvement gonna have to come through organic growth, that means learning curve pains and inconsistency

how did cody even hurt himself?

Looking at the video, it looks like he just got his finger jammed in a jersey or something.

Brittle bones are injury prone.

We’re better than last year. Last year at this time we were 13-23. This year we are 18-18. That has to say something. Wish we would’ve pulled off those games we blew to the Bulls, Sixers, Knicks, Hawks and probably a couple other teams I’m forgetting.

So you’re saying we won’t be above .500 come January 15th as you’ve documented dating back to 2001.

I have some optimism depending on which bigs JB roll out in Cody’s absence but more than likely you’re 95% right that we’ll be sub .500 per usual mid January.

Can't imagine Biz is going to go from DNP-CD for the last like fifteen games to starting or playing a meaningful role in the rotation.

I doubt it too but he should. Willy deserves DNP-CDs.
