Great job on the web site guys. Really like the format, content and layout, already. I could easily see this becoming a go to web site for many Bulls fans everywhere. Great place for Bulls news, talk, highlights. Look forward to the pre game and post game shows. Great idea to expand the podcast into an everything Bulls web site.

Wow you guys are killing me! Another pod to keep up with. Love the idea of Mark on here and collaboration.
More of that please!

Only because I'm having a hard time keeping up with both of you and NFL and MLB in stride now and NHL right behind!
I'm gonna binge a few on a long drive next weekend. I really find I have to pay attention and driving/commuting is best for podcasts.
Wish i could listen at work but I just get distracted too much.

But these have gotten REALLY great with the production, like Ringer qualtiy :reporter:

Saw this yesterday- they are doing a LIVE ESPN 30 for 30 podcast event as part of the Chicago PodFest 2018
(It's the Jose Canseco one premere too)
I attended a PodFest thing the innagural year, was real interesting to watch them do it live.

You should get on this fest next year (or crash this one!!)

October 7 6:00 PM (Logan Square - home of MOCA!)
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-fest-presents-30-for-30-live-tickets-49363752312

The Fest is thrilled to present an premiere of an upcoming 30 for 30 episode, plus a live talk-back with the show's makers. Come for a twilight screening in the historic Logan Square Auditorium, stay to hear host Jody Avirgan, producer Andrew Mambo pull back the curtain on how the show gets made.

Man, you guys are coming with the rapid fire. Love it. The pregame just popped up on my phone. Listening right now. You guys have me all pumped up for Sunday. AD and Niko vs. Lauri and Wendell. What a first test for our young guys. They have their hands full for sure. This should be fun.

I really wish Fred didn't announce this "open competition" for the starting 5 spot. He made the same mistake with Taj and Niko a few seasons ago. I think it really set the team up for failure. He should have just shut up and then when it came time to announce the starters for game 1 of the regular season, he could just say that "he was making a decision that he thought was best for the team" and just start Wendell over Lopez. Now he's put himself in a position where if Lopez plays better in the preseason, which very well could happen, he has to start the season with Lopez in the starting line up. I don't like that. I really think we need to get Carter right into it. From the start he should be starting and getting as many minutes with Lauri as possible.

I've stated my reasons a couple of times in other threads why Carter should start. We need his mobility, his ability to guard PnR, his shotblocking and his ability to step out and knock down a 3 when open... and of course the added spacing that comes along with that ability. It appears on the surface that we have plenty of 3 point shooting, but do we really? Dunn is not a volume 3 pt shooter... Lavine is coming off a season of poor 3 point shooting in both selection and %. Parker has made a little over 100 3's in his four year career far. Even last season, in the games he did play in, he only made 1 three pt shot per game. Lopez can't shoot them at all. So, it leaves Lauri as the only real proven volume 3 pt shooter. Carter can help because he can hit the 3. We need that.

Appreciate the support and consistent feedback. Definitely excited about everything we're trying to do for the upcoming season. A lot of good content coming on the website.

Pre-Game Show with Mark K is up. We looked at a lot of different angles for the Bulls opener. Very fun show. Post-Game will be up Tuesday.

Thanks!

So glad I have this to listen to this afternoon. I have EECP therapy in a little while and it looks like the podcast is exactly an hour long and my therapy sessions are exactly an hour long. It's loud and annoying (the therapy, not the podcast. lol) so it's nice to be able to put on the noise cancelling head phones and listen to a podcast. Let you guys know what I think when I get home.

Haven't been updating the thread each week, but we record two episodes for this week. Episode 23 recapping Lauri Markkanen's return to the team and the Bulls losing streak, and last night's episode with post-game reaction to Boylen's first game as HC and reaction to the firing of Fred:

I tell you what, RealGM Bulls has some quality talent. Between the Guys that have been here in the past and made their mark, to current guys with their podcasts, one could make a damn intelligent and entertaining Bulls sports network.

Keep up the good work fellas.

New episode dropped today. Morten Jensen joined us to make sense out of last week's avalanche of news from the Bulls. Really fun episode:

- Reaction to the comeback win over San Antonio
- What can the Bulls get for Jabari Parker?
- Discussion of the Bulls change in style under Boylen
- John Paxson's comments on the recent team issues

And a lot more.

I really thought in the latest episode, Salim made a great point about the difference between just slowing the game down and playing tough defense, just to walk the ball back up after a good stop.... vs. actually taking advantage of a defensive stop and pushing the ball up for any easy basket before the defense can get set. Just this simple little change in philosophy and mindset can be the difference between a 91-90 loss and a 114 to 96 victory.

We saw this very thing happen in the last game. The Bulls actually decided to push after tearing down a def reb or getting a steal or block or just any good defensive stand. THAT is where you make your hay. That is what good teams do. The best offense, the easiest, even the most fun to watch offense comes off of great defense. That is where the odd man breaks happen, that is where the exciting, I have all the time and freedom in the World to have a WOW moment that jacks the arena and your own bench up (and even the opposing bench sometimes). The Bulls were starting to really figure this out against the Cavs. Take those moments and make magic happen. You can grind out on defense and then run for easy buckets without gassing out the whole team. Also, I want to see this team get more aggressive on the off boards. It also leads to a lot of easy offense.

Great job guys. Really enjoyed the last two episodes, the one with Morten was excellent. Also great to hear from him, even when I might not agree with everything (btw, I did agree with about 90% of what Mort had to say).

Happy Holidays Edward and Salim, thanks for doing what you do. This Bulls fan appreciates it very much.

Yeah, it's really strange that the team is being coached not to take advantage of stops to get points in transition. It's very frustrating. If they can get stops and push, then the shift in playing style isn't bad. Either way, the Bulls have to take advantage of their youth and athleticism

Appreciate you listening and providing us feedback. Happy Holidays to you as well.
