I also live in San Diego, where it's getting crazy expensive. But, I'm also lazy and try to work as little as possible because every second at work is the worst second ever. But I'm good at surviving on little money. I should get into bartending though, but I am also becoming more and more reclusive as I get older. I hate people more and more. Hah.

Wow, not sure how you make it in San Diego with that. I now live fairly cheaply too (as opposed to a while back) but Austin is cheaper than San Diego too.

I lucked out on my living situation. Roommate has lived here for 13 years and the landlord has never raised the rent, so I'm paying $425 a month. I have to make some compromises for that price, cause the place is falling apart and my room isn't very big, but for that price, I'm okay with it for now. Also, work was okay for a while so I was able to save up a bunch of money. Two of my driving shifts got cut though, as the company they were outsourced from started doing them in-house, so that's $300 guaranteed a week that I'm not getting anymore. Only working Saturday and Sunday now cause I get commission for my courier deliveries and those days are the only days that pay what I feel is reasonable. Problem is it's a gamble on whether they will be busy or not. A few weeks ago I made $700 or $800 a weekend for like 3 weeks straight working maybe 18 or 20 hours over those two days. The past few weekends have been pretty slow, to the point where I made maybe $270 or so this past weekend. I'm taking a few more weeks to enjoy my free time, then going to look for a different job part time during the week to supplement.

Yeah, I was renting a house from a guy in Austin and he gave me absurdly low rent ($550 a month) just to keep it up. And that included utilities, cable, internet. So I saved up a ton of money. He finally sold it though a few years ago but I found a pretty good deal on a place.

I lived in Austin for 4 or 5 months back around 2012. I actually would have stayed if the friend of a friend I moved in with wasn't a total druggie that kept raising my rent so he could buy more drugs. Didn't have a job or really know many people enough to find somewhere else, so ended up just moving back to San Diego like usual. Austin was really fun though. Was hanging out with like 3 different girls at the same time that all knew about each other and didn't give a ****. It was pretty rad. hahah.

Idiot came back with the usual Suns are trash and he isn't really good because the team sucks. I am trying not to get warned or suspended any more, (Chuck hates me it seems, some of the **** I post is HALARIOUS), so I had to just turn the other cheek. Its hard to listen to some of these idiots and not clap back, feels like our fan base gets **** on and sanctioned a lot on the main boards to me but I am biased.

A year ago I would agree he's closer to a good role player than a LEGIT NBA starter on a good team. A good amount of people were calling Khris Middleton an All-Star level player last season and was on track to be an all-star this season but I'd say TJ is on that same level right now. Not as good a defender and not as good a passer but he's now a super efficient NBA scorer and fantastic 3PT shooter.

The fact is this, people who don't watch the Suns don't know and don't care about Suns player progression and I don't blame them.

Totally agree and honestly some of the criticism/critique on TJ up until this year was completely legit. Him being able to shoot 40+% on a decently high volume of 3's is a complete game changer for his career trajectory. And it's even more surprising because it's not like he as a guy who just didn't hit enough 3's; he literally wouldn't take them last season and that's a limited player in todays NBA.

He's like Happy Gilmore finally learning to putt.

Anyone else see the smile on TJ's face when he sinks those three pointers? There is a grin of satisfaction there. It is fun to watch.
TJ Warren is 47 of 104 from the three this season. That is 45%. He is 10th in the league among qualified 3 point shooters in percentage. He is third in the league among sf's in adjusted fg%--ahead of LeBron, Durant, THarris, Middleton and many more.

The only small forwards better than TJ in efficiency are lower usage players in Bojan Bogdonavich and Joe Harris.

Moral of the story, we have one of the best offensive sf's in the league right now.

He's our best offensive player right now and can score on extremely high efficiency from anywhere. Ayton is almost as efficient, but obviously can't shoot 3s yet...or at least hasn't tried, but it's safe to say he probably wouldn't do so on really high efficiency right now.

Reading other teams trade threads, its comical how people base their value and thoughts on players they DONT watch play at all. I have heard it all when I read a post on Orlando board calling Tj a low b ball IQ player.... WHAT IN THE ACTUAL ****!?!? I think it is a testament to how Tj has evolved that no one here or in actual basketball circles who watch actual basketball, no one is complaining about his DEFENSE!!! Tj has come a long way and is an underrated defender by a LOT. The dude just does his job on defense, plays good position D, decent help as far as swiping at dribblers driving through the lane, gets a block here and there and even gets a poke away steal from time to time. The only thing he is lacking is actual weak side help shot blocking but hey, not many can do it all.

I find it most interesting to see how things have changed on the trade board. Prior to this year he was mostly viewed as a bad contract despite producing pretty much inline with what he's paid. Now he is greatly out performing his contract you see him getting included in deals yet people try to down play his value.

Here is one that I can't even imagine what this person is thinking.
Phoenix trades Josh Jackson, Tj Warren, Dragan Bender, 2019 1st (unprotected), Mil pick (likely a 2020 late first) and 2021 1st (lot protected, turns into 2 seconds in 2022) for Jrue Holiday

I wouldn't give either Warren or the 2019 pick straight up for him, especially when you factor in age and contract.

Tj's play RPM is right there with Jason Tatum this year.

Good article from the stepien talking about touch being a indicator on 3pt shooting increases and talking about TJ Warren.

Tony Parker and DeRozan have some of the best touches I have seen. Embiid's midrange and overall touch are elite. They can't really shoot 3's.

It's an indicator, not a rule.
