Next home game, The Toronto crowd needs to roar for Kawhi Leonard

Post#1 » by edgehead411 » Fri Jan 4, 2019 6:22 pm

I have never been more put off since the Jazz crowd booed Derek Fisher when he left for Los Angeles for the interest of his daughter receiving the best medical treatment possible.

The San Antonio crowd showed what it means to be spoiled with a rich history if they can boo a guy that arguably led them to two finals on his back.

We need to show our guy Kawhi the love when he returns.

Lol. Roar for a 1 year rental who has said nothing about his desire to stay here long term? Roar for what? He hasn't even accomplished anything here yet.

Let him do something for the franchise before we roar for him.

To add to his list of reasons to possibly re-sign.

But what if we roar louder for DeMar than him? It'll make him want to leave.....

Can we boo FVV everytime he pounds the ball for 15 secs of the shot clock? or Delon when he throws up a soft floating brick over an outstretched arm? or Ibaka everytime he bricks a soft 2 ft hook shot? or OG when he tries to get buy a defender and turns the ball over?

We also need to vote him as the top vote getter in the Eastern Conference for the Allstar game. If you don’t vote you can’t complain he leaves. We need to show him his brand would be great in Canada and that he has alot of backing meaning the entire country!

One of you should also bake him a tray of muffins and take care of his next oil change.

Come on guys, do you want him to re sign or not?

Your such a Joy-Kill dude :noway:. He's been boo'ed a traitor after doing so much for that franchise, at the very least we could do is cheer him on and make him feel like it's his home whenever he comes back next year in our uniform or a different uniform. Why not roar for a player like him? At the very least we can say we had a Top 3-5 Superstar in our team even if it's just one year

Lol. Did so much for that franchise? Are you forgetting the Spurs were a championship organization before Kawhi ever put on a Jersey? He bailed on them for an entire year and forced his way out. What he did was worse tha what vince did yet we crucify him.

Or we can just stay normal and just cheer and wait til our team gets healthy and with more shooters hopefully make a huge run after the trade deadline and regain first in the conference then sweep the 8th seed and chant mvp on the road in Detroit as we advance to the 2nd round and continue our finals run

Oh please what Vince ( aka Wince) did was much much worse! You obviously are too young to know any better. Vince frikkin gave the opposing team our plays during a game, Vince faked injuries, Vince said he would never dunk again and proceeded to be ok with dunking while on the nets. Kawhi did nothing to the Spurs that is even close to what Vince did to the Raptors! Kawhi brought the Spurs a championship, Vince brought us nothing but heartache every playoffs

well I expect to see you write that up on a sign and display it whenever there’s a cheer for Kawhi. See how that goes.

I would think a “welcome home” chant during intros would be appropriate. Can do it for the whole team, but we know who it’s for.

If OG is trying to bribe the other team then that’s contrary to MLSE policy and yes he should be boo’ed.

Lol and it was one of the other three that won Finals MVP. Some posters here are dillusional. Without Kawhi that team wouldnt even make the finals. See how he was dismantling the greatest team ever in the Warriors before he got injured. For fk sake people just want to say sht just so they can post without any valid substance.
I feel your pain edgehead
