Welcome to team Noah. Spearsy and I are looking for recruits.

If they can't get him and Thompson to their normal level, they might be beatable.

And that's when you remember cousins will have three months to work back into shape.

I highly doubt that Cousins is going to make much of a differece. He's not exactly the kind of guy who's known for "playing his role" and making his teammates better. And he's coming off a horrible injury that has thrown several other guys off their career trajectories. Wesley Matthews tore his achilles and is still nowhere close to his former self now in his 4th season after the injury.

only a few big men even close to cousins' level have had achilles tears. elton brand, christian laettner, and mehmet okur. it killed all their careers more or less around the same age as cousins is now. there's the modern medicine hope for the warriors, though. most recent is okur in 2010.

that said even if he has a major drop-off he's probably better than any other c on the warriors roster.

Cousins is a good passer And floor spacer. Those are the things you want Draymond doing offensively, and even with diminished movement cousins is going to excel in that role. The question is rather or not he can give you enough defensively to stay on the floor.

The Grizzlies should give us one of their wings now.

I assume that’s what you’re referring to.

could we have done nader + tlc + 2 2nds for holiday? would have saved chi a bit more $. but would have cost us 7 mil in additional tax.

I’m ok with not giving up two seconds for Holiday. Seems like a bit much.

I think Selden might be slightly more interesting as a prospect than either? Hard to say. Considering OKC/CHI history of trades I'd be shocked if they haven't been talking.

With Lowry out, the Raptors defense just collapses: 112.7 DRtG in the games he's missed so far.

Watched him a couple times while he was in EU.
He is not worth 2 2nd rounders.
Guys like Holiday can be found anywhere ...

I'd always be willing to give up second round picks for a guaranteed rotation piece.

This is the one thing Bill Simmons is right about: Butler thinks he's hot **** when he's not.

I like his game a lot but he's a constant malcontent. He didn't even make it two months before it started hitting the fan.

I don’t think he’s capable of respecting anyone younger (within reason) of him. I think there is only a handful of teams where he could “fit” in and not cause trouble. These teams are Houston, OKC, Raptors, GSW, and Celtics. There might be a couple of others, but unless you have a mega star Alpha player, Butler will not show any amount of respect.

I don't think it's a matter of malcontent/leadership. I think he's just a d*ck and is going to have problems with people liking him everywhere.
