OP should we also hold rallies twice a week to show how much we appreciate him?

Welcome him back to the airport after every away game?

Good grief man. Yes he got booked by the opposing team. It happens. Why overreact? This guy isn't that weak emotionally.

The San Antonio crowd showed what it means to be spoiled with a rich history if they can boo a guy that arguably led them to two finals on his back.

We need to show our guy Kawhi the love when he returns.
D.Fisher used his daughters illness to leave the jazz and get back on the Lakers. They should have thrown chairs at him, the guy is a scumbag.

Led them to two finals on his back ?

Are you **** serious? So he carried Parker , Manu and Duncan ?

Oh I'm sorry, it was one of those other three guys that was given the cake task of guarding LeBron James

And Bruce Brown had the task of guarding lebron In a previous finals series .

You see how dumb you sound ?

In 2013 both Tim and Tony were all stars Kawhi was a mere role player.

In the 2014 playoffs he averaged 14.3 ppg throughout the playoffs tied for 3rd on the team

Your gonna sit here and tell me he carried these teams to the finals ?

He's been boo'ed a traitor after doing so much for that franchise, at the very least we could do is cheer him on and make him feel like it's his home whenever he comes back next year in our uniform or a different uniform. Why not roar for a player like him? At the very least we can say we had a Top 3-5 Superstar in our team even if it's just one year

Lol. Did so much for that franchise? Are you forgetting the Spurs were a championship organization before Kawhi ever put on a Jersey? He bailed on them for an entire year and forced his way out. What he did was worse tha what vince did yet we crucify him.

Raptor fans have such double standarda

Oh please what Vince ( aka Wince) did was much much worse! You obviously are too young to know any better. Vince frikkin gave the opposing team our plays during a game, Vince faked injuries, Vince said he would never dunk again and proceeded to be ok with dunking while on the nets. Kawhi did nothing to the Spurs that is even close to what Vince did to the Raptors! Kawhi brought the Spurs a championship, Vince brought us nothing but heartache every playoffs

do you not see my join date? I've been a raptors fan for damn near 20 years. the whole "giving away our plays" thing was BS. complete overblown BS. give me a break.

he faked injuries? No. he was legitimately injured yet he STILL played the season out. Kawhi didn't even play the season. By your sick, twisted logic, playing a season is WORSE than completely sitting out?? Now compare how garbage the raptors organization was in that era to how amazing the spurs organization was during kawhis time there. vince gave us his prime years. kawhi bounced on the spurs as soon as he had the chance to.

vince put toronto on the map. gave the city its first taste of the playoffs. He damn near carried us to the conference finals ALONE on his BACK against allen iverson-led sixers. We've only surpassed that ONCE since then. if it wasnt for vince carter, this damn franchise might not even exist in toronto right now

like i said, raptor fans have the biggest double standards

Our crowd has been trash this year tbh no offense. Or maybe were just waiting for the long run in the playoffs.

That's revisionist history based on how badly Fisher's reputation has been damaged over the last few years.

Knowing some of the bandwagon Derozan fans that literally became fans 3 years ago, it will happen. Will be pretty sad too.

Lol and it was one of the other three that won Finals MVP. Some posters here are dillusional. Without Kawhi that team wouldnt even make the finals. See how he was dismantling the greatest team ever in the Warriors before he got injured. For fk sake people just want to say sht just so they can post without any valid substance.
I feel your pain edgehead

Andre Iguodala won the Finals MVP too. Did he carried Curry, Klay and Drammond? I would rather have those 3 than Iguodala. Similarly, I take prime Parker, Manu, Duncan over Kawhi.

And the spurs wouldn’t have made the finals without Manu , Tim , or tony either.

And your gonna sit here and tell me that 2014 Kawhi is the same player he is today? If you really believe that I’m not sure if you’ve ever watched him play before this season.

MVP is lame everyone does that

How about come! back!

If he said he wanted to stay his jersey sales would jump through the roof!

The morale for the city, the team and for his relationship with his mates would be huge.

He’s made it clear that he’s just focused on being the best he can be for us this year.

I’d still cheer for him if he’s balling.
Putting up career high numbers!

Not a good example. For one thing, his daughter's treatment was to be done in New York. For another, he allegedly didn't want to be in Utah in the first place. Also, he's a crappy human being (**** a dude's wife, tried to **** another dude's wife) with a lending business that someone in his position should know won't always be for the best of the young players in the league.
