The #2 spot is almost as favorable as the first spot. Because in the divisional round, pats are looking at texans or colts/titans at home which the patriots should matchup well with. As opposed the #1 seed you are likely looking at possibly chiefs/chargers or ravens in the divisional round.
yeah i dont disagree here. Looks like the Chiefs would get the #1 seed and face either Chargers or Ravens. Both could beat KC on the road.

Pulling for a Titans victory over the Colts, so the Texans could beat them and go to Foxborough. Looks like we could even host the AFC CG.

Bills, Jets at home, Bye, Div. at home, AFC CG at home. Four straight at home were we dominate. Then a super bowl Brady vs Brees.

Damn Eagles, they could sneak into the playoffs. I wanted them to fail badly but they need to beat the Redskins and they lead 10-0 at HT. They also need the Bears to beat the Vikings and they lead 13-3 at HT.

Pats fans, is McDaniels "the guy" when Bill steps down? Why else would he step back from the Colts job after he committed to it?

My Packers supposedly have him at the top of their list of HC candidates. I have a hard time believing it would work out after what happened with the Colts. Plus, his time with the Broncos doesn't give me much confidence in his HC ability. Do you guys think he could work out as a HC somewhere else or is he better off as a coordinator?

Edit: also seeing your DC Brian Flores come up in some reports. Better candidate than Patricia was for a HC or still too early to say?

Thats what I assumed, that McDaniels was the guy to replace Bill and especially after the Colts drama. (worked out really well for the Colts in the end though).

I still see his name being brought up though for other teams again and mostly with the Packers, my guess is Rodgers would like McDaniels. Although since I hear Brady wants to play again next year not sure I can see this happening.

Good Lord the Packers turned into a mess!!!!! I have to say I do put blame on Rodgers too, he seems a bit difficult.

Your guess is as good as mine though with McDaniels, he's always rumored to be in the mix but I thought he was with us till the end after he snubbed Indy.

Pats were #1 seed if not for a fluke Hail Mary. 4-0 vs playoffs teams, including the Chiefs, Texans, and Bears.

No, BB just warned him that this will likely be his last HC job and its a massive risk joining a team with an unstable owner. He’ll leave for the right opportunity.

He’ll be a good HC in his next stop, Im confident in that.

Flores is 100% better than Patricia. Patricia sucks.

AFC Prediction [Bolded=winner]

Wild Card: Texans vs Colts, Ravens vs. Chargers

Divisional Round: Ravens @ Chiefs, Patriots vs. Texans

AFC Championship Game: Patriots vs Ravens

NFC Prediction [Bolded=winner]

Wild Card: Bears vs Eagles, Seahawks @ Cowboys

Divisional Round: Seahawks @ Saints, Bears @ Rams

NFC Championsbip Game: Seahawks @ Bears

Super Bowl LIII: Patriots @ Seahawks

Hottest team in the playoffs will be the Seahawks, you heard it here first, they will be the road warriors. I like Wilson over Brees in a dome, in a shoot out. Cowboys can only win a certain way, their QB sucks, also in a dome I take Wilson over Prescott everyday of the week. Seahawks @ Bears will be the most entertainng game of the year (more than Rams/Chiefs) a high scoring game won by a FG in the final seconds.

Patriots will kick some ass if they’re in Foxborough, I only like them on the road at stubhub center in LA. Not at arrowhead stadium. Ravens will beat the Chiefs this time around, and they’ll beat the Chargers again.

The cinderella story ends for the Seahawks against NE. Patriots vs Seahwaks 2.0 finishes 32-24 in favor of the Patriots.

My Super Bowl prediction all season has been Pats/Rams. I can't change it now. Not the flip flopping type, I ride and die with an early season prediction until the end.

Nobody likes the Rams though anymore in the last several weeks, guess we'll see what they are made of this postseason.....

Rams/Pats has been in my head all year too. My go to piece of Patriots fashion this year is a throwback jacket with that Superbowl in the back. Just feels like if we make it, we'll play them but as you said, most people are down on them.

I think the winner of the Bears/Eagles game comes out of the NFC.

AFC...well I hope it's the Pats...

The Texans are just awful, so is coach butt chin.

Colts are for real...until they play New England. I think they have a real shot at beating the Chiefs next week.

Wouldn't it be great if we played the Ravens/Harbaugh in the Divisional round again? Then the Colts in the AFC championship game? Colts with Frank Reich (Eagles OC last year) Super Bowl 52. That would be sweet. How about topping it off by beating the Eagles/Pederson/Foles in the Super Bowl?

Damn what a story this Colts team is! McDaniels snubs them and they grab Frank Reich who is a much better leader. Started 1-5 and Luck looked "done" after all those injuries. Must be something in the water in Indy too since the Pacers/Colts have become so good on defense.

Colts at Chiefs will be fascinating. Colts have been beating the Chiefs in the playoffs since 1995 with Jim Harbaugh then Peyton Manning and once with Luck already.

Won't be easy and Mahomes is rolling but I think Luck can hold his own.

Ugh I don't like the Colts but I am happy to see Luck have such a nice comeback story. Reminds me of Gordon Hayward too.

Both AFC playoff games have been bad, with the road team with the better QB dominating.

Personally I was hoping for Houston or Baltimore. Philip Rivers is more then capable of bringing it.

Good bye Baltimore, trash team. Jesus their new QB who replaced Flacco is a train wreck.

Boston/LA again. ;)

But they will always be San Diego to me.

Chargers have similar strengths and weaknesses to ours. I actually think the Ravens would have presented a trickier matchup. Here's to hoping the Colts can knock off the Chiefs. I am not confident in our ability to beat the Chiefs.
