Caveat....I’m not much of a gamer and haven’t played a ton outside of sports games. Will be trying Last Of Us next and then God of War as I recently got a PS4.
My experience of non sports games has basically been COD, Halo, GTA, and games that are 20 years old.
I’m a sucker for great story lines much more than actual gameplay mechanics. RDR2 was basically a great TV series. I love that.
All posts are my own opinion.

Don’t pay too much attention to you % complete of story mode because the ending will come much faster than you think. That % is for total completion including side missions, hunting, etc.
The game is unbelievable and I’m sad that it’s over.
Yeah I love it, I was surprised at some of the complaints on here with people saying it's overrated. I have the 4k TV and the One X and the graphics are stunning and the story line is good. Obviously controls are a bit clunky, but I think that's by design. What % were you at when it says you're finished?

I still can't decide if I'm excited or disappointed that the Resident Evil 2 coming out later this month is a remake as opposed to just porting the old version over for purchase in the various online stores. The original is one of my favorite video games ever - I'm hesitant that a remake will tarnish my memory of it.

60-some percent when the main story finished. Chapter 6 is the last chapter. 75% when the two epilogues finish and the story is completely over. Obviously this varies for everyone depending on what you do on the side.

I am in the middle of RDR2. Outstanding.
The Last of Us is my favorite game ever. You get so emotionally invested in it through its incredible character development and detailed world. Not ashamed to say had tears in my eyes at the end.

Yeah, I also enjoyed it quite a bit. Some of the complaints were understandable, especially with some odd mechanics and a confusing control system. But I enjoyed the story and the graphics were stunning.

I've said this before, but TLOU is the only game I've ever played that made me put down the controller and go for a walk to digest some of the intense scenes in the game.
Can't wait for TLOU 2 to come out.

Definitely in a gaming funk the last month or so. Playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma II, but rarely. Tough to see many on the horizon that will peak my interest. I'm hoping Anthem in late February is something special, but I'm not buying it until after a week a or so of impressions. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Days gone are two I think I'm anticipating liking later this spring.

I had no idea that Octopath's music was such a big thing, but I decided I wanted the soundtrack, googled it, and fell into a black hole of analysis over how incredible the music is. This is really interesting.

I mean, no one is requiring either one of you to love any game. It may be overrated in your personal eyes, and that's fine.
But the general consensus on TLOU was extremely positive; overwhelmingly so. 95% Metacritic score. Perfect scores from a variety of sources. And with good reason, in my opinion. It was excellent.

Picked up Breath of the Wild again in the last two days. That game is still stellar. I think it just speaks to me in the way of climbing up over a ridge and looking down and going "ooooh, that looks interesting!". Been a having a little decision indecision over what to prioritize playing lately, but I'm thinking I'll put my head down and finish Zelda, then move on to one of the other three games I have on deck.

Hey man, just sharing opinions. Obviously people love the game otherwise it wouldn't be remarkable to not enjoy it.

You're just sharing an opinion? I wasn't aware of that.
I was just sharing how remarkable that opinion is.

Haha you really gonna poke fun at me for stating the obvious when your first reply to me was "no one is requiring you to love any game"?

Well, I said that to acknowledge that you don't have to like a game before sharing that I felt that my opinion on the game reflected general consensus. It was meant to stave off a stupid back-and-forth like this where you'd feel the need to unnecessarily defend your personal opinion of the game.
