Quick update from Mavs camp. Rick Carlisle said he thinks Dennis Smith Jr. will NOT play tonight. Said Luka Doncic should be ready to go but still has back problems. So it's questionable how well he will be able to move out there.

Which means, Suns are in a great spot to win this one as well, even without Booker.

Winnable game even with Booker out if the energy from last night carries over. Mavs are on a 3 game losing streak right now too. It'll be interesting to see what line-up they use with DSJ out tonight. Luka's going to see a lot of the ball with him out for sure, but Bridges should be able to make things tough for him.

Either Kleber or DFS will start. Which means 2 good defenders and high energy guys. Might even be a blessing in disguise for the Mavs since DSJ is like a day and night with his performances. Or maybe even Brunson starts so they will continue with 2 ball handlers.
Bridges could make it tough for Luka since he is injured yes, but he could also struggle if Doncic will be in his "all star" mode :P

I think they just beat the lakers. They also have the favorable schedule with days in between lately n going forward. We have their number lately, but they are at home. Depends how luka looks. No Booker has to hurt in the long run, but if we can keep the effort going n if we can get one of those crawford 15pt games n some big minutes from okobo or some other unknown, we might be able to take it.

They started Jalen Brunson most of the games DSJ has been out, but they did start Kleber once. Not really worried about Bridges though, we've done a good job on Doncic in our 2 matchups against the Mavs.

Nah they lost to the Lakers at home. We are on a back to back though so it'll be tough.

On the pregame show they did a spotlight on J Kidd on the Suns. He talked more than once that he learned how and what it takes to win by coming to the Suns. Sigh.

Ayton's actually had some of his best games on the 2nd of a b2b...and he didn't play very well last time against the Mavs so he may be extra motivated to do well....I won't be surprised if his teammates want to go extra in setting him up to give him good numbers against Doncic, especially with Booker out.

Dirk being out today is a huge hit for the Suns. He's a guy the Suns could've taken massive advantage of and according to many Mavs fans, him and DSJ are the culprits of their recent losses.

Both are out today against the Suns :(

Bridges has to stop getting in foul trouble.
