If they replaced Mermuys with a real offensive coordinator and hired a shooting coach the imporvement would be huge.

Last night I saw a predetermined game play defensively for the second time this season. We doubled Biff every time he went base line. Kuz overplayed him to the top and who ever was playing the 5 trapped from the baseline. It kept him from his favorite bully baseline drive move all night. He was effectively neutered by it. The first time I saw us do a game specific defense was on Christmas when we trapped Curry off the high screens not allowing him space to shoot and play the "left-right" game around the screen.

Not sure why we can't get a more sophisticated defense going other than just certain games but the team executed well in both of those games.

Not sure who game planned that but I'd like to see more of it.
