This is a bit shocking, but I guess we couldn't live up to our promises to him, which likely included maximizing the number of days he spent with the BRK Nets, and eventually converting it into a full contract. He can probably earn far more in China for a few months, and then rejoin some other team for the end of the season.

I think with RHJ out he could have had some minutes but thinking about it more he would have been soley a C here and probably behind faried anyhow. with Ed Davis looking to stay long term nets probably doings whats right for williams

We must be doing him a favor or just thinking that Ed Davis + Allen have the center spot locked up. The guy was grabbing 15 boards + shooting 3s pretty decently in Long Island. Loved his energy on the team too.
